Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure precision and compliance.
• Analyze balance sheet items, review journal entries, and verify ledger accuracy.
• Collaborate across departments to ensure timely capitalization of fixed assets in financial statements.
• Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports and corporate documents.
• Prepare the annual budgetary plan biannually, integrating financial data and analysis.
• Assist in the annual stocktake process, mapping data, verifying inventory, and generating reports.

Entry Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years' accounting experience, with proficiency in general ledger management.
• Degree in Accounting or equivalent qualification.
• Strong familiarity with financial software such as Excel, Power BI, SAP, and Power Query.

Responsibilities

1. Perform laboratory work (includes handling of biological samples)
2. Documentation of product development activities (e.g. product evaluation, artwork documentation, supplier evaluation, risk management) which are in compliance with ISO13485
3. Analyze results and communicate with team members during scheduled meetings
4. Support product training or event activities.

Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Sciences, Bioengineering or equivalent
2. Knowledgeable and experience in handling immunoassay (e.g. ELISA and lateral flow) and clinical chemistry
3. Knowledgeable in product development standards (e.g. CLSI, ISO 14971, IEC 62366)
4. Preferably 1 to 2 years working experience in a laboratory
5. Prior experience working in an ISO13485 environment and familiarity with medical device design and development will be an advantage
6. Able to work independently and in a cross functional team
7. Able to communicate effectively
8. Comfortable with writing up documents in English
9. Well-organized with good documentation habits
10. Proactive, responsible, results driven, highly motivated, adaptable and a self-learner

Duties include, but are not limited to the following:

• To handle the day-to-day accounting activities (including payments, receipts, AP & AR transactions)
• Perform monthly bank reconciliation and inter-company reconciliation
• Ensure timely completeness in accounting closing and accuracy in accounting reports.
• Monitor organization’s cash flow
• Monitor quarterly GST returns and prepare GST Returns and Submissions.
• Assist to prepare annual Budget, monthly and quarterly reports for management.
• Assist in audits and tax fillings and liaison with auditor and tax agent.
• Understand and ensure comply to financial regulations and legislation.
• Liaise with external business partners such as distributors, bank, external auditors, government authorities and etc.
• Attend to operational issues that have financial and administration impact
• Assist to prepare finance report for management review.
• Ensure timely completeness in accounting closing and accuracy in accounting reports.
• Maintain good documentation and filing system
• Assist in establishing internal control procedures to improve accounting process
• Update inventory on hand and received.
• Responsible for the stock check, inventory accuracy and management.
• Any other jobs as assigned

Job Requirements:

• Candidates should possess at least a Diploma/ CAT/ACCA Level 2/Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy or equivalent
• Candidates should have at least 2 years of working experience in handling full set of accounts
• Strong analytical skills and able to multi-tasks.
• Detail-orientated, and meticulous.
• Able to work independently and effectively under pressure to meet deadlines
• Team player and proactive.
• Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel)
• Able to communicate with English & Mandarin is preferred. In order to liaise with the English & Mandarin speaking clients and associates.
