Programmes
• Ensure smooth operations of daily programmes at the Viriya Mental Wellness Hub
• Work closely with key stakeholders to plan, organise, and implement programmes and activities for residents.
• Churn out monthly and quarterly reports
• Take in enquiries from the public on participation in current programmes
• Establish and support the run of caregiver support groups
Community work
• Co-lead and conduct environmental scanning to understand existing landscape community needs, and to identify community-specific issues.
• Conduct assessment of community needs through data collection and the conduct of basic analysis (e.g. collation of social data, conducting interviews or surveys, community mapping, analysis of social trends).
• Conduct needs assessment of existing service users and to lead, design, implement and evaluate new and existing community-specific development programmes.
• Set up programme protocols and processes to respond to emerging needs and/ or achieve desired outcomes
• Participate in community development initiatives and provide recommendations for consideration
• Tap on and utilise community resources and engage stakeholders and partners to develop solutions in community work to meet the needs of the community
• Highlight social emerging trends in the community
Casework and supervision
• Conduct needs and risk assessments for intake
• Provide case management, counselling and psychoeducation for clients with mental health concerns and/or dementia, and their families/caregivers
• Provides case supervision to social/case workers
Operational Managerial Skills (Operational Processes, Policies and Protocols)
• To support the Lead Professionals in the implementation of centre’s operational and practice protocols, processes, and policies.
Ancillary Duties
• Plan and execute events within the organization
• Work with stakeholders and casework for ad-hoc external programs
• Any other job tasks that may be assigned within the Division and VCS, when necessary
