A. Financial Management

Financial Accounting and Reporting

unsettled claims and placed & loan/demo assets, ensuring

B. Audit Management

External Audit management

• Through the proactive and open liaison with the audit Engagement Partner or Manager, lead the annual audits for EVIDENT Australia in a structured manner ensuring the timely and accurate completion of the Annual Financial Statements.

Internal Audit management

• Working closely with the Head of Finance and in alignment with the assignment of tasks agreed in the Audit Group meeting(s), co-lead the co-ordination and preparation for any internal audit conducted on EVIDENT Australia. The preparation will include the compilation of supporting schedules and organising meetings on behalf of the IAD with the appropriate EVIDENT Australia personnel based on the audit plan and opening/closing meetings.

C. Cash and Asset Management

Cash Flow

• Prepare a weekly cash report for the APAC Head of Finance, outlining the main drivers underpinning the degradation or improvement in cash – i.e the ‘why’ through an analytical-based review of the movements in key balance sheet accounts (e.g., pre-ordering of inventory, extended payment terms to customers, capex investment, tax payments, dividends and customer financial solutions).
• Through collaboration with the Commercial & Planning Analyst, review the cash flow forecast and seek opportunities to improve the cash position.

Capex and Fixed Assets

• Operate the Capex database, ensuring its functionality and the appropriate levels of authority are maintained.

D. Tax Management

· Co-ordinate and oversee the month-end process, and financial statement preparation of all operationalised SCV business entities and investments. This involves but is not limited to, oversight of venture monthly performance and control reports, technical accounting requirements, operational booking model oversight, financial regulatory requirements, management of third-party vendors and financial systems utilised for ventures and audit requirements.

This will require being involved in due diligence preparation, quarterly financial presentations and business positioning materials (including valuations and potential acquisition and exit strategies). · The role is expected to ensure financial control over all digital ventures is established and robust. This will involve setting up new financial systems with third party providers and financial systems and integrating these in accordance with Group requirements as well as ensuring accurate and timely information reporting to SCB Group and related stakeholders is provided.

· The role will require a control mindset and adherence to the SCV Committee (Risk) framework for Business Ventures and Fund investments.

· Partner with SCB Tax team to support tax compliance including filing corporate tax, VAT and other tax returns. • Relevant accounting qualification e.g CiMA, ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent

Preferred qualifications

• Experience in creating process improvements with automation and analysis
• Experience in identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize or simplify finance or business tools and processes
• Experience performing ad hoc analysis using advanced Excel

Responsibilities

• To conduct a professional, consultative financial analysis and profiling session with customers to meet their financial needs/objectives.
• To foster and deepen customer relationships by providing regular market information updates and trend analysis on local and international financial products
• In consultation with the PB team manager/branch manager/ PTL, draw up monthly plans for achieving/exceeding sales targets to meet new business and customer acquisition goals.
• To participate in marketing and promotional activities for customer acquisition.

Requirements

• 3 years of relevant experience in relationship management within the banking/financial wealth management space dealing with HNW clients
• Recognised university degree and possess CMFAS certification (M1, M5, M6, M6A, M8, M8A, M9, M9A & HI).

Job Duties:

• Manage the calendar and a variety of administrative task for the team
• Supports the team in all general administrative matters.
• Prepares expenses, invoices and procurement for proper authorization and approval.
• Handle travel management that includes booking of air tickets, hotel room, car transfer, plan travel itinerary, match travel plan with business meeting schedule etc.
• Arrange logistics of tele and video conference calls, and schedule meetings including booking of meeting rooms
• Processing of expense claims and reports
• Generating various daily, monthly, and quarterly portfolio reports
• Other ad hoc duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, any field.
• At least 5year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Preferably Senior Executives specializing in Secretarial/Executive & Personal Assistant, Banking/Financial Services or equivalent.
• Comfortable to work in fast paced environment
