Responsibilities

• Project lead and manage the electrical scope of works within the project.
• Responsible for preparing project documents, developing budgets, meeting client requirements, implementing project procedures, and making sure the project is completed on time and within budget.
• Responsible for overseeing the design, installation, and supply of electrical systems.
• Draw up schedules, allocate time, resources, budget, working with the engineering team, construction team and client to ensure work is completed on time, to a high standard.
• Manage, expedite, and support consultants' and contractor document submittals, budgets and schedules.
• Serve as an interface between the Electrical Engineering Design team and construction team to facilitate execution of project.
• Liaise with customers/consultants/project managers concerning approval of plans and drawings, acceptance of work, progress of work, problem solving, etc.
• Attend site meetings and inspections, report regularly on progress and monitor project schedule.
• Responsible to handle projects independently
• Resolve any technical difficulties and other problems that may arise in site or project
• Testing and Commissioning of the completed installations with Customers/Consultants/Sub-Contractors Assisted with the development of new electrical engineering standards and maintained and improved existing standards and guidelines.
• Prepare electrical-related scope documents, exhibits, budgets, specifications, schedules, and Requests for Proposal (RFPs).
• Coordinated project construction with project and construction managers to resolve critical and time-sensitive construction-related electrical issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering
• At least 5 years of experience as electrical project engineer
• Previous experience in electrical projects is crucial
• Knowledge of EPC/M work processes as well as familiarity with the various project phases and the scope/deliverables
• Strong organizational skills, technical knowledge of electrical systems in a process plant, leadership, strong computer skills, and time management.

Work Location; 61A Tuas Nexus Drive. Transport will be provided.

Assistant Electrical Engineer responsibilities include:

• Lead all the ACMV System projects, critical analysis of device and system installation and execution of testing and preventive maintenance activities
• Provide technical advice and recommendation during key project implementations ensuring potential issues are identified, mitigation plans are determined and process efficiencies are measured post project launch
• Demonstrate accountability and effectively manage a team of technicians by providing clear, concise instructions, prioritization of tasks, coaching and full understanding of task objectives and delivery
• Oversee resourcing and plan allocation of work assignment to the team to ensure appropriate capacity in carrying out all tasks
• Collaborate and initiate innovative solutions to senior stakeholders and the management teams to achieve business requirements and deliver the desired outcome
• Provide support with building engineers and contractors in the design, review and analysis of building blueprints prior any ACMV System installations or modification activities to ensure that all safety and regulatory requirements are strictly adhered to.

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a BMS and SCADA Commissioning Engineer within our EMS team. This role will be responsible for commissioning engineered solutions to meet customer requirements, project cost, time and quality.

You will responsible for:

Performs the commissioning of components, systems and solutions on-site.

Plans the required activities.

Prepares reports and documentation of the results.

Executes the hand-over to the customer personnel and their briefing.

Make optimizations of disciplines (e.g. by settings).

Contribute as a test engineer to admittances, routine and type tests.

Perform or support the determination or specification of the required test equipment.

Lead the commissioning staff functionally.

Control the mentioned tasks and /or provide supervisory guidance at site

Adopt new BT portfolio offerings and deliver into customer projects.

Through innovation optimise engineering and commissioning to reduce time and cost

Job Requirements

Experience within an HVAC Controls/DDC/BMS environment in particular within Commissioning and/or Service

Experience in programming of BMS/HVAC controls

Experience in Modbus/BACnet high-level integration to third-party systems i.e. metering, SCADA, HVAC equipment

Experience with IT/Networking setup and commissioning including workstations, servers, switches, routers etc

Experience in MS Office including Word, Excel, Visio

Duties of E&I Engineer:

• Responsible in designing and developing new control systems, which can be complex in nature necessitating the expert application of engineering knowledge and control disciplines such as process control, programmable logic controllers (PLC), and supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA).
• Responsible to prepare, review and approval of drawings, instrument lists, data sheets, elect diagrams, control architecture, logic diagrams, operating procedures
• Responsible to plan and self-monitor daily engineering and design work assignments
• Responsible in controling and monitoring job costs and schedules to meet completion dates, customer technical specifications and internal technical specifications
• Responsible in developing and using engineering standards (electrical, instrument, etc.), procedures and forms for engineering design and production fabrications.
• Responsible in providing engineering advice and support to engineers and Project Managers.
• Responsible in preparing FAT procedure and test Control system
• Responsible in conducting training on plant operation & maintenance.
• Responsible in performing plant start-up & commissioning/ troubleshooting.
• Responsible in representing the company for customer discussions and technical reviews

Requirements

• Minimum Degree in Engineering/ Electrical or equivalent
• Minimum 5-8 years of relevant experience
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and AutoCad
• Knowledge of PLC programming experience is a bonus
• Prior experience with SCADA system is a bonus
