EAs a Fab Engineer at Micron Technology, Inc., you will be working with a team of other process and equipment engineers responsible for starting up, developing and optimizing processes to improve product quality and reliability, working on process yield improvement, cost reduction, productivity improvement and risk management as well as resolving manufacturing line problems. This position will identify, diagnose and resolve process related problems by applying failure analysis, FMEA, 8D or SPC methodology. Additional responsibilities include coordinating and carrying out process, equipment and material evaluation/optimization to implement changes at process step, leading and participating in yield improvement and cost reduction activities, handling new process baseline qualifications and managing, auditing and liaising with material suppliers to achieve quality, cost and risk management objectives.

Job Description

Responsibilities and Tasks:
• Establish and improve process condition and technology.
• Upgrade process capability and reduce production cost.
• Establish and modify process management projects.
• Set up process parameters for a variety of semiconductor equipment.
• Evaluation, promotion and planning of new equipment / materials.
• Abnormal analysis and improvement.

• Demonstrates thorough understanding of yield data analysis, Fab processes and their common effects/signatures on yield/device.
  
• Use knowledge of semiconductor device physics, electronics and semiconductor manufacturing processes to explain and resolve yield issues using various statistical/data analysis tools.
• Communicates the process/tool related yield toggles to the Fab process areas and supports them in troubleshooting the process/tool.
• Should have excellent interaction with other internal YE groups and work to understand their constraints.
• Create/participate in multi-area focus teams to troubleshoot complex yield problems.
• Publishes a clear Pareto of yield limiters on their specific part type.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present data in large meetings.
• Support transfer of next generation technology from R and D to production Fab as and when necessary.
• All team members are required to complete their learning items within the stipulated time frame
• For business process and/or QMS component that one is responsible or accountable for:
  

a) ensuring the QMS/business process that is effective and conforms to requirements

b) ensuring that the processes are delivering their intended outputs

c) reporting on QMS/business process performance and opportunities for improvement to management

d) ensuring the promotion of internal and external customer focus throughout the organization

e) ensuring the maintenance of the integrity of the QMS/ business process when changes are planned and implemented.

f) ensuring customer requirements are met

Responsibilities:

• Liaise with Professional Engineer on the Temporary works
• Handle of technical and engineering problems
• Daily site activities planning, preparing work breakdown, daily site operations, site coordination, monitoring and report work progress.
• Work closely with subcontractors on project progress and ensure timely work arrangements.
• Liaise with consultant and carry out site inspection.
• Able to take on PE Assigned supervision role.
• Provide guidance to supervisors in relation to construction works, ensure progress according to schedule
• Maintain quality standards, carry out site inspections and resolve technical issues on time

Requirements:

• Min Diploma / Degree in Civil Engineering or its’ equivalent
• Experience in underground civil works (tunnelling) ,Diaphragm Wall, Bore Piling is a plus
• Possess RE Registration with IES is an advantage
• Experience in LTA/MRT Project is an advantage
• Able to lead and work independently

Project Engineer

Diploma / Degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering
Minimum 2 Years of Construction / M&E Experience
Autocad skills & MS Office Proficient
Basic knowledge in Surveying / Measurements is a plus.

Scope:
To assist the Project Director/Manager in planning, execution and supervision of works.

Experience in producing, editing, and executing Method Statements.
To co-ordinate sub-contract works.
To assist in site administration.
Attend meetings with client, consultants & subcontractor to ensure that all A&A project requirements are compiled and executed accordingly.
Able to interpret drawings and identify discrepancies within all trades and come initiate solutions.
To lead a team of supervisors to carry out their works accurately and timely to ensure that works on site are carried out according to contract and client requirements.
Responsible on Permit to Work Submissions.
