• Duration of Service 10 months (1 Jan 2025 to 30 Nov 2025) but services Not Required for the month of June (1 June 2025 to 30 June 2025).

Deployment:

• Mondays to Thursday: 7 am to 4 pm, inclusive of 0.5 hr lunch break
• Fridays: 7 am to 3.30 pm, inclusive of 0.5 hr lunch break
• Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays.

Scope of Works:

1. Plan and conduct ICT related training for staff and students.

The ICT Executive cum Trainer will plan, design and conduct ICT baseline standards training for students from P1 to P6. He/she will also assist in the assessment of the students’ attainment of ICT skills. The ICT Executive cum Trainer will also conduct relevant ICT training for staff.

2. Execute in-house ICT related design and editing work

The ICT Executive cum Trainer will conceptualise, design, layout and execute school-assigned design projects emulating current trends whilst maintaining creativity. School-assigned design and editing projects include:

• Conceptualisation and consultation on school corporate image
• Marketing and/or publicity materials such as brochures, flyers, posters, bookmarks, postcards, banners
• School collaterals such as pupil diary, calendars and camp-shirts
• In-house publication such as school magazine.
• Photo and video editing.
• Wall murals

3. Provide ICT & AVA support for school events and programmes.

The ICT Executive cum Trainer will support the school’s ICT department in handling day to day ICT management. He/she will also provide AVA support, inclusive of sound mixing, photography and video, for school events and corporate matters.

4. Assist in management and maintenance of ICT & AVA equipment and resources. The ICT Executive cum Trainer will assist the HOD/ICT with managing the school’s ICT & AVA resources such as the replacement and condemnation of ICT & AVA equipment and the managing of loaning of ICT & AVA equipment.

5. Assist in administration of school-based ICT related systems.

The ICT Executive cum Trainer will assist the HOD/ICT in the administration of school-based ICT systems such as the digital signage, timetabling software, OAS scanning system & Parent-Teacher Meeting booking system.

6. Other tasks

• Other tasks for the ICT Executive cum Trainer may include proactively scanning the market for technology trends and new technology tools that support teaching and learning and, educate and update school staff.



• Briefing the CEO on the agenda before every meeting
• Collecting all the reports on behalf of the management

• Acting as a bridge between management and employees
• Assist the CEO during meetings
• Plan CEO outstation trips
• Assist in oversea trip bookings
• Deputise CEO during his absence

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in any discipline
• Minimum 3 years of working experience
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication, co-ordination and time management skills.
• Able to multi-task and have an eye for details.
• Good judgment, professional, diplomacy and discretion, sense of urgency and initiative.
• Possess excellent command of written & spoken in English and Mandarin (in order to liaise with Chinese speaking Senior Management, Associates and Guests).

Pay Band: Teacher's payband (Salary starts from SGD 5,350 to SGD 6,250 gross per month depending on qualifications and experience)

Role Purpose:

To plan, develop, deliver and review high-quality written and interpersonal communication skills workshops (face-to-face and online) that ensure client satisfaction and support the business and wider aims of Professional Skills in Singapore.

Main accountabilities but not limited to the following:

Programme delivery

• Plan, prepare and deliver high quality professional training that meets the needs of different customer groups.
• Develop and/or use appropriate assessment methods to gather information on participants' competency levels, before, during and after training and coaching sessions.
• Build excellent relationships with clients and programme participants to engage them in the learning experience and encourage them to choose British Council as a partner for their long-term skills development needs.
• Demonstrate expertise and confidence in the subject matter to enhance the credibility of the British Council’s Professional Skills offer.
• Use British Council’s Professional Skills methodology to create a learner-centred, interactive experience for programme participants.
• Relate all learning to participants’ workplace contexts to ensure they are able to apply the techniques in real-life situations.
• Give useful constructive feedback on participants’ performance.

Programme planning and customisation

• Carry out background reading and research to enhance subject knowledge in the areas of focus for Professional Skills in Singapore to ensure programmes stay current and relevant to the target audience.
• Carry out needs analysis with customers and potential customers to recommend programme content that best meets the needs of the target audience.
• Customise existing programme materials, including developing new content, methodology or case studies, to ensure they meet the needs of the target audience.
• Prepare effectively for programme delivery, including administrative tasks, to ensure participants experience a high-quality learning and development event.
• Produce internal/external course reports following the Professional Skills monitoring and evaluation processes to identify strengths and areas for improvement.

Other

• Carry out specific assignments where needed (such as consultancy or project work) to augment the Professional Skills offer.
• Actively engage in professional development and performance management.
• Any other duties necessary to support the business.

Role specific knowledge and experience

Essential

• Certificate-level English Language teaching qualification (e.g. CELTA, ESOL, TEFL, Trinity)
• Relevant work experience, with a proven track record of delivering soft skills and business communication courses to clients from public and/or private sectorsPrior experience of working in a business function, especially in a leadership position (e.g. finance, sales and marketing, operations)
• Developing and/or delivering online and blended training programmes

Desirable

• Relevant Master’s Degree (e.g. MBA)
• Other recognised national training qualification (e.g. ACTA/ACLP)
• Qualification in developing or delivering blended programmes

Additional Information

• Trainers are required to work off-site. Training may take place in the evening and at weekends, although currently most workshops run between 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.
• Ministry of Manpower (MOM) approval is required for candidates applying from outside Singapore. Final appointment will be provisional on the approval. Singaporeans and PRs are also encouraged to apply.

International Transfer

• This role is open to all applicants including those who need to relocate to undertake the role. Candidates who do not have a natural right to work in the country will be provided with immigration clearance and visa support. Please note visa approvals are beyond the British Council’s control so any job offer will be subject to securing the required right to work.
