As the Associate Director, Commercial - Development (Singapore, Malaysia, Japan), you will report to the Commercial Director - Development, and work closely with the rest of the Development team, making your mark in a number of ways:

Job Description

· Carry out repairing works scheduling of lifts and escalators, project supervision, and documentation.

· Supervise and monitor the repairing works of lifts and escalators.

· Able to troubleshoot and solve the repairing issue

· Report on work progress

· Ensure timely and smooth progress of work.

· Ensure quality works are achieved and safety regulations are complied.

· Responsible for manpower planning and usage at the site.

· Liaise with Main-contractors/Supplier.

· Ad hoc assignment as and when required.

Job Requirements :

· Min 5 years of working experience in Lift & Escalator industry

· Possess a certificate in Building Construction Safety Supervisor (BCSS)

· Able to communicate and supervise workers of multi nationalities at construction site

· Good team player with a positive working attitude.

· Previous experience as a supervisor or similar role will be an advantage

· Relevant work experience in the service and maintenance of elevators and escalators will be an advantage. .

Responsibilities:

• Architect and implement scalable control and navigation solutions for AMRs utilizing your expertise in ROS, C++, and Python. Your focus will be on robustness, efficiency, and adaptability in real-world environments.
• Evaluate and integrate third-party systems (HW/SW) to enhance KABAM robots' capabilities.
• Conduct rigorous field tests to validate the reliability and performance of navigation systems in diverse outdoor conditions. Leverage insights gained to iteratively improve and optimize navigation algorithms, incorporating SLAM, motion planning, and perception techniques.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of design, development, and deployment processes. Foster a culture of knowledge sharing within the team by presenting insights and lessons learned in regular sessions.
• Provide expert support for remote robot deployments at customer sites worldwide. Your troubleshooting skills and hands-on assistance will ensure seamless integration and operation of our solutions.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in robotics technology. Engage in continuous R&D efforts to explore new methodologies and technologies that can elevate the capabilities and performance of our AMRs. Implement findings to enhance existing systems and processes, keeping KABAM at the forefront of technological innovation.

Requirements:

• Education – Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science/Electrical Engineering/Mechanical Engineering with a focus in robotics, mechatronics, or related fields
• Experience – Bachelors (with at least 3 years relevant experience) or Masters (with at least 1 years relevant work experience)
• Industry – Previous experience in a robotics company preferred
• Supervisory – Personnel management is nice to have. Project management/technical lead experience is preferred
• Language – English (required), Mandarin (desirable)
• Technology – C++/Python, Linux, git, ROS; SLAM, motion planning, or perception techniques

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement maintenance schedules for vehicles fleet and equipment to ensure optimal performance and extend equipment lifespan.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to identify and address potential issues before they become major problems.
• Liaise with operations teams to address vehicle breakdowns and operational concerns, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum productivity.
• Manage receipt, maintenance, and monitoring of mechanical parts inventory to ensure accurate tracking and efficient use of resources.
• Prepare regular reports on maintenance activities and performance metrics to keep stakeholders informed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of experience in vehicle maintenance and repair, preferably with experience in spare parts management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Prepared to work on weekends and 24 hours standby for breakdowns
• Must have a Class 3 Driving Licence

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with mechanical, software and materials science engineers to successfully develop, test, validate and manufacture hardware.
• Design, maintain, implement,and improve PCB components, electrical systems, and power electronics of existing and new products.
• Design Test System Instrumentation.
• Test,debug, and troubleshooting at module and system level.
• Product testing for environmental and certification standards.
• Prepare necessary design and manufacturing documents.
• Provide technical support to Quality and Compliance teams during the qualification phase.
• Work with the Sustaining Engineering team to resolve the production issues.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree (Or) Diploma in Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
• Strong in Hardware & System level troubleshooting.
• Basic understanding of firmware programs for Microcontroller, SOC and SOM.
• Designexperience with Microcontroller / Microprocessor, Memory, Communication links.
• Experience with PCB Design tools like Altium, KiCAD, etc.
• Design Experience for SI and PI, EMI/EMC compliance.
• Relevant work experience is advantageous.
