• At least 5 years IT experience as Level 1 Production Operations engineer.
• Strong analytical skills: The ability to analyse production processes and identify areas for improvement and optimisation.
• Technical Proficiency: Profound knowledge of production systems issues and effective solutions to enhance operation efficiency.
• Problem-Solving Aptitude: A knack for troubleshooting production issues and devising effective solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
• Experience in Data Centre facilities, including temperature and humidity monitoring system, smoke detection and fire suppression systems, Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) units, CCTC, keypress units, etc.
• Familiarity with AWS tools such as CloudWatch, Cloud Trail, etc would be an advantage.
• Able to work shift duties.

The shift hours are as follow:

▪ 1st shift - 7:00 am to 3:00 pm

▪ 2nd shift - 2:45 pm to 10:30 pm

▪ 3rd shift - 10:15 pm to 07:15 am

o The 8-day rotational shift pattern is as below:

▪ Two days 1st shift, followed by

▪ Two days 2nd shift, followed by

▪ Two days 3rd shift, followed by

▪ Two off days.

Key Responsibilities

• Continuous Service Improvement: Add value to Data Centre Operations by identifying improvement opportunities to sharpen Production stability, stakeholders experience and overall service quality.
• Identifying opportunities for automation within production processes to streamline operations and reduce manual intervention.
• Timely escalation and communication of major incidents such as escalation matrix, leading, driving, facilitating, and chairing all investigation activities.
• Being accountable for resolving the incident with workaround or permanent solution.
• Participate in troubleshooting system and network connectivity problems before escalation.
• Monitoring production metrics and performance indicators to ensure targets are met.
• Ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards in production.
• Other ad-hoc duties as instructed.

Description

• Application Development: Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using Java, with a focus on integrating Hadoop and Big Data technologies.
• UI Development: Create responsive and user-friendly interfaces using modern web technologies, ensuring seamless user experiences.
• Data Management: Utilize Hadoop and related technologies to process and analyse large datasets, optimizing for performance and scalability.
• Agile Collaboration: Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, to foster a collaborative team environment.
• Production Support: Provide ongoing production support, troubleshooting issues, and implementing fixes to ensure high availability and performance of applications.
• Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code. Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices.
• Testing: Develop and execute unit tests and integration tests to ensure application reliability and performance.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies, continuously seeking ways to enhance application performance and user experience.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in full stack development, with a strong focus on Java and Big Data technologies.
• Proficiency in Java and related frameworks (e.g., Spring, Hibernate).
• Experience with Hadoop ecosystem components (e.g., HDFS, MapReduce, Hive, Spark).
• Strong skills in front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React or Angular).
• Familiarity with databases (SQL and NoSQL).
• Experience working in Agile environments and understanding of Agile principles.

Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Liaise with subcon to plan, arrange and carry out construction activities
2. Liaise with design department to confirm and clarify design issues
3. Liaise with RE/RTO to carry out inspections
4. Record work done on a frequent basis
5. Ensure quality of work done conform to specifications
6. Handle any other ad-hoc duties and tasks assigned

Requirements:

1. Min Diploma in Civil/ Structural Engineering or equivalent
2. Min 3 years working experience in construction
3. Software knowledge: CAD, MS Project
4. Able to work independently, proactive and self-motivated
