We are looking for an innovative procurement manager to lead our procurement team. You will spearhead the purchasing process from selecting suppliers to ensuring stock optimization, as well as provide guidance on sourcing and procurement processes.

Our procurement manager will be a supply chain and logistics expert who will specialize in implementing cost-effective purchases of all goods and services, as required by the company. Ensuring quality control and adhering to the company’s policies and procedures on supply chain management will be some of your main priorities when carrying out this role.

Procurement Manager Responsibilities:

Developing procurement strategies that are inventive and cost-effective.

Sourcing and engaging reliable suppliers and vendors.

Negotiating with suppliers and vendors to secure advantageous terms.

Reviewing existing contracts with suppliers and vendors to ensure on-going feasibility.

Building and maintaining long-term relationships with vendors and suppliers.

Approving purchase orders and organizing and confirming delivery of goods and services.

Performing risk assessments on potential contracts and agreements.

Controlling the procurement budget and promoting a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs.

Overseeing and managing the IT systems that track shipments, inventory, and the supply of goods.

Preparing procurement reports.

Procurement Manager Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, or business administration.

Proven experience managing supply chain operations.

Experience using supply chain management software and tools, including Oracle, SAP Ariba, and/or Envision.

In-depth knowledge of preparing and reviewing contracts, invoicing, and negotiation terms.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access).

Management and leadership skills.

Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.

Highly organized and detail-oriented.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Scope of work will include but not limited to the following:

• Manage registration portal and database for assigned event.
• Attend to all email and call enquiries pertaining to event registration portal and event information.
• Prepare weekly and/or daily registration reports for presentation to management.
• Perform follow-ups on payment reminders to registrants and ensure full collection of payment before event.
• Work with team members to execute the onsite registration matrix and be in charge of the onsite registration counters to handle in-person and online enquiries.
• Provide post-show registration reports and any other information required by reporting officer.
• Ensure IT security SOPs set in place are complied by internally and by external vendors hired to service the event.
• Day-to-day administration to facilitate scope of work.
• Ensure that databases are maintained and kept up to date after event; and
• Any other tasks as may be assigned from time to time by your reporting officer and Director.

Requirements:

• Minimally Diploma holder.
• Preferably with 1 year of experience in related field, applicants with no experience may apply too.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially MS Excel.
• Strong presentation, interpersonal, communication skills with client-service orientation.Possess a positive attitude and high standards in work ethics & personal integrity.
• Good time management skills with the ability to prioritise, work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and highly cross-functional organisation.
• Possess good working attitude and willing to learn.

Job Description:

• Liaise with Users and Vendors for Procurement related activities.
• Solicit best bids in accordance with the company’s standard procurement policies and procedures.
• Address clearly the agreed specification requirements, terms and conditions to Vendors.
• Assist Procurement Manager to prepare and conduct bids evaluation analysis.
• Organize technical and commercial clarification meetings with vendor if required.
• Expedite for vendors’ quotations and users’ decision in accordance to agreed timeline.
• Assist Procurement Manager to prepare procurement related documents.
• Manage proper e-filing of Procurement related documents.
• Assist to archive hardcopy of old RFQ documents and organise vendors’ samples.

Requirements:

• Preferably Diploma/Degree Holders.
• Meticulous with strong emphasis on accuracy and detail.
• Able to multi-task and able to work independently.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Good time management and organizational skills.
• Self-starter, passion to develop a career in Procurement.
• Proficient with MS Office software and other relevant applications.
• Willing to work during events day for assigned event duties.
• Office is located at Changi Airport Terminal 2.
