Job DescriptionOverall responsibilities

QUALIFICATIONS

• Diploma in Mechanical/Electronics Engineering.
• Minimum 4 years’ hands-on QC experience, preferably in a manufacturing/workshop environment.
• Proficient in interpreting mechanical/schematic drawings.
• Familiar with the usage of commonly-usedbQC testing/measuring instruments.
• Strong verbal and written English, and able to generate QC reports in good English.
• Organised, methodical, meticulous, pro-active.
• Able to follow through with colleagues and vendors in a firm manner to ensure quality requirements are upheld and faults rectified.
• Responsible, a team player, able to communicate and integrate well in an international environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform product inspections to ensure that they conform to all specifications and procedures.
• Perform Incoming inspections, In-Process inspections, and Final inspections prior to delivery.
• Prepare QC reports.
• Communicate internally and with vendors on product faults, and follow up to ensure rectification.
• Ensure ISO/QEHS compliance for QC matters.

Job Description:

• Processing inventory orders, logging items that have been received and items that have been taken from inventory, and physically moving product within the company premises.
• Maintaining an updated list of inventory items and their locations in the store.
• Taking inventory of items in storage areas to ensure that they are labeled correctly and in good condition.
• Prepare shipping labels to items that are being shipped out of the company to fulfil orders or replace damaged stock.
• Inspect shipments of new stock as they come in, checking to make sure orders have been filled correctly and looking for damage. If items are found to be damaged or incorrect, he/she must make arrangements to get correct, undamaged items to replace them.
• Updating records of inventory levels to facilitate accurate ordering and restocking efforts.

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least Diploma / Degree in Logistic, Business Management or any related course.
• Familiar with warehousing duties and use of warehouse management systems.
• At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Prefer applicant to specialize in Inventory/Material & Warehouse Management or equivalent.

Job Description:

• Perform inspection of incoming products, materials or customer items according to job order, such as -measure and record the dimension of components/parts using measuring instruments and analyse the findings for discrepancy; -perform non-destructive test or hardness test (if necessary) and analyse findings and raise report where necessary; -take photographs of the components/parts for recording purposes.
• Perform initial inspection and raise report.
• Perform in-process inspection according to procedures and customer's specifications. Raise report whenever necessary.

You will perform Weight & Balance responsibilities for departing flights from Changi International Airport as well as departing flights from other international airports around the globe. Your essential roles are to ensure that the structural weights of an aircraft are within its safety parameters and that each departing flight is in "trim" and balanced within the centre of gravity. You will also be responsible for the completion of the Loadsheet and its related Weight and Balance documentation in accordance to IATA rules and regulations, handling pre-load calculations, load distribution and planning, timely issuance of loading instructions, and timely presentation of loadsheets to pilots before flight departures.
