Amazon Web Services (AWS) seeks a Finance Analyst to be key member supporting the APJ Commercial Sales business as part of the APJ central finance team. This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the fastest growing divisions within Amazon. As a Finance Analyst, you will work closely with the Sales, Strategy, Finance and business leaders to develop financial models and analytical insights to assist in evaluating new business concepts, turning insights into operational measurements, and identifying paths to improve the overall planning and forecasting process. • Support the APJ Sales and Finance Leadership team on short- and long-term financial planning and FP&A responsibilities.

A Day In The Life

• Partner with finance to review freight spend, potential risks, potential upside and lead projects to reduce variance vs Annual Operating Plan.
• Collaborate with large manufacturing sites to drive process standardization and deploy best practices.
• Ensure route code and route guide compliance.
• Identify inefficiencies in processes and technology and support enhancements by working with Enterprise Deliver COE (i.e. TMS, E2E Visibility, Control Tower, etc).
• Uncover cost savings opportunities to achieve 5-6% YoY cost.
• Work with the Deliver COE to achieve service, sustainability, and cost targets.
• Deploy transportation acumen/capability/knowledge management/training within manufacturing sites.
• Drive cross-functional initiatives and collaboration.
• Ability to consistently make timely decisions even in the face of complexity, balancing systematic analysis with decisiveness.
• Travel 15% to manufacturing sites within Greater Region China and APAC.

Must Have:

• Bachelors degree required
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in transportation, with a minimum of 3 years people management experience.
• Ability to speak Mandarin as the role needs to work with stakeholders in China
• In-depth knowledge of transportation planning and transportation management system (TMS)
• Experience managing China ground transportation network and China exports
• Strong results orientation (driving to deadlines, financial targets, project goals, etc).
