Job Summary
The position of Managing Director is a full-time position based in Singapore, to manage the company’s business development and lead sustainability consulting projects.
Roles & Responsibilities
· Support customers in their sustainability journey: conduct materiality assessments, build sustainability strategies, embed sustainable practices across their operations, report and analyse performance.
· Organise, plan, develop, coordinate and implement sustainability and climate consulting services.
· Develop and retain long-term customer partnerships.
· Lead, mentor and develop the team.
· Provide and facilitate sustainability training and workshops.
Requirements
· Master’s degree in environmental science, sustainability, or relevant studies.
· Minimum 7 years’ experience in a sustainability setting with a focus on sustainability consulting & assurance.
· Strong understanding of industry/ sustainability frameworks such as the GRI Standards, GHG Protocol and TCFD.
· Track record on sustainability reporting, materiality assessment, carbon accounting, sustainability assurance, ESG assessment (CDP, GRESB, EcoVadis), training facilitation.
· Experience in 2-3 key industries such as ICT & data centres, video games, air conditioning, manufacturing, transport & logistics.
· Ability to effectively handle a heavy workload and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
