He provides technical support during construction and site showround. He/She coordinates with sub-contractors, suppliers and consultants. He also maintains proper filing and record of drawing list as well as assist to prepare engineering reports. He participates in site works, inspection and planning.

• Analyse the Authority’s data needs and document the requirements.

• Refine data collection/consumption by migrating data collection to more efficient channels.

• Plan, design and implement data engineering jobs and reporting solutions to meet the analytical needs.

• Develop test plan and scripts for system testing, support user acceptance testing.

• Work with the Authority’s technical teams to ensure smooth deployment and adoption of new solution.

• Ensure the smooth operations and service level of IT solutions.

• Support production issues.

• Good understanding and completion of projects using waterfall/Agile methodology.

• Hands-on experience in DevOps deployment and data virtualisation tools like Denodo will be preferred.

• Understanding of reporting or visualization tool like SAP BO and Tableau is important.

• Track record in implementing systems using Hive, Impala and Cloudera Data Platform will be preferred.

• Hands-on experience in big data engineering jobs using Python, Pyspark, Linux, and ETL tools like Informatica.

Key responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines using tools such as Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Data Warehouse, and PL/SQL. The role involves working with both structured and unstructured data, performing ETL/ELT workflows, and developing solutions that provide business insights. Experience with Informatica, SAS, and data lakes is highly desirable.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of working in Agile/Scrum environments, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and managing production issues within SLAs. Strong experience with predictive modeling, data quality checks, and dashboard reporting is essential.

We are looking for a seasoned Data Engineer with over 10 years of experience in Big Data technologies, PySpark, Data Warehousing, and Cloud Data Platforms. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in designing and developing data pipelines and transforming data using tools such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Ab Initio, Teradata, and SSIS.

The role involves working with PySpark and Spark SQL to perform data extraction, transformation, and aggregation from multiple sources and file formats. A strong understanding of Spark architecture and hands-on experience with Hive, HDFS, JSON, ORC, and Parquet is essential. The candidate should also have experience in data warehousing techniques such as slowly changing dimensions (SCD), surrogate key assignment, and change data capture (CDC).

Proficiency in Python and Unix shell scripting, along with Airflow, Control-M, and Autosys for orchestration, is required. The ideal candidate will be involved in end-to-end ETL implementations, including requirements gathering, database and process design, implementation, testing, and production support.
