As the Paid Media Lead, you are responsible for developing and implementing the strategy for paid media channels, in close collaboration with the global and regional Strategy & Planning team. Your role involves creating a data-driven paid media strategy with your media agency to maximize marketing budget and regional growth, driven by global guidelines. You will work closely with Customer Activation & Marketing teams to ensure successful campaign implementation, optimization, and performance measurement across various paid media channels.

You have strong brand- and customer-focus with proven ability to set goals, drive results and take strategy into action. You are analytical, strategic, and are well-skilled in how to take insights into action, with a passion and understanding of media, brand and customer. You have a strong media background and competence, and are able to connect the dots from brand through to performance, to build and develop plans through the full customer journey. You enjoy working both on a strategic level as well as hands-on with day-to-day operations.

Key responsibilities

• You develop a comprehensive paid media strategy plan aligned with the overall marketing goals and target audiences, identifying key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the success of paid media initiatives.
• Create and drive detailed media plans, including targeting strategies, budget breakdowns, and timeline for campaign implementation.
• Collaborate with marketing and controlling teams to allocate the paid media budget effectively across different campaigns and channels based on performance and expected return on investment (ROI).
• Prepare regular performance reports and analysis, providing key insights to stakeholders and presenting actionable recommendations for campaign improvements.
• Gather and collect creative feedback to ensure strong creative material, in collaboration with the Insight & Analytics team.

As the Owned Media Lead, you are responsible for developing and implementing the strategy for owned media channels, in close collaboration with the global and regional Strategy & Planning team. Your role involves overseeing owned media planning, content analysis and development, and distribution to drive engagement, brand awareness, and customer loyalty. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that owned media channels are effectively utilized to achieve marketing and business objectives.

You are analytical and insight-driven, and have strong interest in customer data, customer behaviour and how that impacts brand value and future business value. You are driven by turning insights into actions and plans, presenting your findings and recommendations in a clear way to stakeholders across functions. You work hands-on with planning and tactics, taking this out into daily operations.

Key responsibilities

• You develop a comprehensive owned media strategy plan aligned with the overall marketing goals and target audiences, identifying key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the success of owned media initiatives.
• Collaborate with content creation teams within the region and globally to develop a content calendar and plan that aligns with brand messaging and resonates with the target audience across owned media channels.
• Utilize customer insights and data analytics to segment the target audience for owned media channels and tailor content to meet their preferences and needs, in collaboration with CRM & Loyalty team.
• Oversee the management and optimization of owned media channels together with Digital to ensure a holistic plan across all digital touchpoints, e.g. app, site, social, email and push, ensuring that the plan is synced with the overall holistic planning.
• You closely collaborate with the content operations team to secure the right content in the right place at the right time for the customer and provide a feedback loop to the insights unit and global content teams.

• Lead, define and deliver the regional strategic and tactical media (in particular, digital) planning process within Southeast Asia and India.
• As the Planning Lead, own the end-the-end planning and delivery of campaign plans for 9 markets across Southeast Asia and India, with the support of a Planning Manager.
• Understand brand strategy and recommend paid strategies to support their objectives.
• Develop effective and efficient planning strategies across digital channels and campaigns to drive brand, digital and business results, leveraging established global tools and frameworks.
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop best-in-class digital campaigns and innovation.
• Establish strong partnerships with key local and regional HCP and consumer media owners.
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve media effectiveness through test-learn-optimise programmes.
