About Our Client

Our client is developing a new community social media platform and is looking for a product manager to join their diverse teams across US, Europe, China and Singapore. They are building a user generated content platform from ground up. They are looking to hire a Product Manager - Social Media/Community.

Job Description

The Product Manager - Social Media/Community will work alongside with the rest of their teams across several markets to develop compelling product strategies and vision for a global product. You will need to be a superb communicator to work with and influence with stakeholders across different seniorities, both internally and externally. You will need to be able to identify and build new products/features through your understanding of customer needs and market trends. You will also need to have good Product Management skills and you will be responsible for the end-to-end product cycle: from the ideation to execution and optimisation of the product.As one of the first PMs on the team, you will have to work independently and be able to come up with a robust product roadmap and GTM strategies.

A lot of autonomy are given to their product managers who will be responsible for coming up with the entire product roadmap and strategies for the products they are handling. You will need to be hands-on and independent in order to do whatever it takes to launch a successful, well-loved product. There will be freedom in carrying out elaborate experiments to test hypotheses in order to bring innovative new products to the market.

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate must have the following:

• 2 or more years' of experience in the product management and prior experience in development in social media/community/b2c products.
• Experience in UI/UX and simplifying complex problems
• Ability to manage internal stakeholders across seniorities and functions
• Quantitative and analytical skills; make good data-driven decisions
