1. AUTHORITY

• In charge of the operational procurement process for ship’s requirements.

2. GENERAL RESPONSIBILITY / TASK DESCRIPTION

3. EXECUTION

▪ Interacts with ships to identify and meet requirements / problem resolution and to accommodate

Our client is a well-established MNC, market leader in the 3PL Logistics industry. Due to their current expansion plan, they are looking for Logistics Officer to join their warehouse team, in hopes of developing the current high performing team. They are located in the East - easily assessible.

Jobs Scope:

• Adhere to all operational procedures and compliance standards.
• Act as the main contact for delivery, shipment, and customer inquiries.
• Manage system transactions for receiving, order fulfillment, and shipment planning.
• Coordinate with customers and transporters to resolve daily issues and meet delivery/collection requirements.
• Perform stock allocation and arrange shipments based on customer instructions.
• Prepare and consolidate outbound documentation for cargo release and return to customers.
• Collect and manage data for reporting to the Operations Executive/Manager.
• Oversee record retention, documentation, and cycle count processes.
• Ensure all KPIs are met and provide timely, accurate reports.
• Assist with administrative tasks, data entry, and provide backup support when needed.

Requirement:

• Min 1 year of warehouse operations experience
• Basic computer skills

• To source and research potential suppliers for machine components, materials and procurement products from both local and overseas.
• Manages full spectrum of purchasing process (sourcing, quotation, negotiation, shipping and delivery, etc)
• Issues and processes of purchase order in accordance with company policies and procedures
• Expedites order, monitor and follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
• Proposes recommendation for vendors and evaluates vendor’s performances.
• Managing inventory issues, schedule changes and cancellation through excess and obsolesced.
• Work closely with teams and workshop and assembly to ensure on cost-savings measure and on time deliveries for projects

Requirements:

• Diploma / Degree in Engineering, Preferably Electronics or Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 2 years of working experience in procurement function, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
• Some technical knowledge in machine components is a plus.
• Team player with strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
