About the Role

As an Operations Specialist, you will be part of Digital Procurement team and you will report to the Head of Digital Procurement. About the Role

As Master Data Specialist, you will work with Senior Manager BI and Master Data to execute data strategy and establish better governance of the group’s procurement master data throughout its lifecycle and ensure that high quality, actionable spend data is provided to the business. You will guide the category teams on how to secure an item’s mastering and data integrity through the end-to-end procurement process. This is partially a new role in the team developing our master data management (MDM) is a key part of improving our global Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) capability. • JDM is a new Engagement Model that LEGO is embarking on with our EMS
• New Ways of Working and a New Governance Model need to be created and aligned within
• Similarly, Value Engineering creates new opportunities for LEGO but also creates new processes and complexities
• Complex Negotiations and Agreements will be needed

Implementation of EMS Strategy:

• 3-year EMS Strategy to transform the EMS supplier base
• High level of focus and negotiation with key partners and management of the suppliers on the assessment, implementation and transformation
• Negotiation of contracts and agreements and implement strategic plans
• Review and Update EMS Strategy

Implementation of Electronics Commodity Strategy:

• Management of Distributors, Independent Distributors
• Key Account Management for Electronics Suppliers

The mission of Procurement Function is to ensure Global Supply Base Operational Excellence while complying to LEGO requirements. The role may be called upon to take on Special Projects out of the normal scope of work and implement Strategic Initiatives.

Do you have what it takes:

• Degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering or related fields
• Min 15 years’ relevant working experience in:
• 1. Procurement in an EMS Environment
• 2. Strategic Procurement Experience working in the Electronics Industry (PCBA & Box Build), Electronics Components and Mechanical Commodities knowledge
• 3. Operations Procurement Activities (Budget management, Negotiations, PPV/PfP management, Cost Management, Change process etc)
• 4. EMS Supplier Management & Negotiations
• 5. Experience in SMT/Box Build Manufacturing Environment, Automation in Manufacturing, Line Balancing
• 6. Project Management of Complex Products/Programs
• Proficient in ERP such as SAP and Oracle
• Familiar with New Product Introduction (NPI) procurement activities
• Proactive and collaborative, excellent communication skills, especially with Senior Management
• Possess a Strategic Mentality and Strong Business Sense, ability to see and develop opportunities and able to influence business partners

Job Summary:

The Purchasing Director for Technology & Cloud Services is responsible for developing and executing procurement strategies specifically for networking, cloud, and infrastructure services. This role involves managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring cost-effective acquisitions aligned with business needs in a rapidly evolving technology landscape. The Purchasing Director will also focus on expanding the supply chain into new markets and work closely with internal stakeholders to align procurement strategies with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Procurement Strategy in Technology Services: Develop and implement purchasing strategies specifically for network hardware, cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure), and other technology infrastructure needs, ensuring best-in-class sourcing practices.
• Supplier Management: Build and manage relationships with key suppliers and service providers in the technology sector, with a focus on cloud and infrastructure vendors, ensuring performance and reliability.
• New Market Expansion: Explore and secure new suppliers and partnerships in emerging markets to enhance the company's technology supply chain, especially in networking and cloud services.
• Cost Optimization: Negotiate contracts and optimize costs for cloud, networking, and software services, ensuring both value and scalability as the company grows.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the semiconductor environment, high-precision manufacturing, and a proven track record in procurement leadership across the Southeast Asia region.

· Strategic Development - Develop and implement a regional procurement strategy that supports the company's growth objectives and enhances supply chain efficiency.
