**Purchasing Duties:**

- Develop marketing strategies to increase brand visibility and drive sales.
- Monitor and analyze campaign performance, presenting ROI reports to management.
- Organize and participate in trade shows or corporate events to promote the brand.

Job Descriptions

• To assist the Purchasing department in preparing the Purchase Order and other internal documents as required based on correct specifications
• Comparing freight charges from different forwarders for all import shipments.
• Responsible for coordinating shipments with suppliers locally and overseas to warehouse
• Liaison with Finance, Warehousing, 3rd party couriers to ensure goods are received in satisfactory quality and quantity
• Plan weekly import shipments schedule for warehouse.
• Handling day to day paperwork to ensure smooth flow of goods deliveries
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirements

• Minimum of Diploma with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• PC Literate – particularly Microsoft Office and Outlook
• Excellent eye for detail
• Be able to input data accurately
• Excellent communication skills

• Prior experience in Shipping Coordination is a MUST

Job Description

• To develop purchasing strategies and oversee the purchasing team in the daily activities without compromising on minimum quality and standards.
• To review purchase requisitions considering issues such as lead times, standardization, quantity discounts, and purchasing budgets.
• To engage in value analysis of currently purchased materials in an effort to achieve cost savings without sacrificing quality
• To check and manage the current supplier's list by identifying potential suppliers and conducting vendor visits.
• To be informed about technological innovations and to review lower cost substitute materials with all departments.
• To conduct periodic market surveys in association with the Departments concerned to determine and/or validate the availability and prices of market goods.
• To visit and evaluate suppliers, to request quotations or bids, to negotiate prices and terms, to place orders, to resolve problems, to follow up any outstanding delivery and activate any payment with Hotel current suppliers and potential suppliers.

Provide support for special projects

Requirements:

Preferably with prior experience in similar role in Chinese restaurant

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

Able to speak and write Mandarin/Chinese to liaise with Mandarin speaking colleagues and suppliers
