Responsibilities:
· Oversee inventory management
· Maintain updated and accurate records of inventory, including transfers and cycle counts
· Maintain and monitor closely on monthly safety stock level to cater to order requests
· Lead yearly inventory stock take
· Ensure sales team are using the correct item codes
· Review and monitor products for discrepancies troubleshoot quantity discrepancies between stock and records
· Analyse product sales, stock turnover rate and inventory level
· Prepare, generate, and file inventory reports to ensure inventory accuracy
· Develop and implement improvements to existing operational procedures in order to maximize efficiency and reduce operations costs
· Administer purchase orders and payment process while working together with finance team on payment issues
· Liaise with forwarder or courier service to plan shipping schedules accordingly to fulfill orders
· Perform other and ad-hoc duties & responsibilities as assigned by the by the Superiors
Requirements:
· Minimum Diploma / Degree in Logistics / Supply Chain Management industry or related discipline
· At least 5 years working experience in a related field
· Meticulous, highly organised and positive attitude
· Good analytical and communication skills
· Proficient in Ms Words /Excel / Powerpoint
· Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics Business Central system is a Plus
