Purchaser (80%)

• To request for quotation from vendors for materials/services for our rigs
• To issue PO under instructions from Procurement Manager.
• Scan, keep and file all certificates pertaining to the purchases.

• Assist in new suppliers’ registration.
• Check and update received tax invoices.

• Packing of materials for shipment to respective rigs when needed.
• Be accountable for items packed into boxes when needed.
• Keeping records of the inventory materials in the warehouse and yard
• To do receiving on Oracle inventory system under our buddy-buddy support system.
• To ensure there are no mis-shipment and all materials are accounted.
• To supervise or attend to loading and offloading of materials.
• To attend to inspectors conducting offsite inspection.
• To coordinate trailer, crane and forklift bookings.
• Day to day yard and warehouse maintenance when needed.
• Carry out equipment maintenance work as per rig offices request.
• Assist Supervisor in ensuring HSQE requirements are satisfied.
• To be on standby during Public Holidays for any operational emergency.

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the execution of procurement contracts from working with stakeholders on requisition, sourcing, evaluation, seeking approval for award and contract management.
• Understands and operationalise the Policies and Procedures to meet with business needs, including coordinating with various stakeholders and providing advisories to requestors to facilitate sound buying decisions through the right balance between public accountability, the prudent use of funds and operational efficiency.
• Supporting sharing and training of Procurement Procedures to stakeholders.
• Ensure the delivery of the Procurement’s Service Level Agreements commitments.
• Participates and collaborate with various stakeholders in cross functional improvement projects including developing change management plans, evaluating the impact of planned change, identifying risks and mitigation plans.
• Participates in audit review findings/lapses and propose changes to governance policies and procedures; support audit reviews, investigations, and internal process improvements to resolve identified issues with relevant stakeholders.

Job Requirement

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in procurement.
