Inventory Control Assistant / Executive

Location: Gul Crescent [Company Transport @Big bus from Chinese Garden, Lakeside & Boon Lay; Small bus from Yew Tee]

Working Hours: 8.15am - 5.30pm
Working Days: 5 Days [Monday - Friday]
Salary: $2500 - $3000

The incumbent will work alongside with the team manager to manage the company’s inventory system and committed to maintain data accuracy and integrity of the system.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the company’s inventory system
• Provide support for periodic stock checks and stock takes
• Oversee & ensure inventory accuracy in the system
• Review inventory documentation, records and reconciliation of inventory discrepancies if any
• Liaise with warehouse personnel on inventory matters
• Ensure timely updating of supplier price lists and computation of selling price

Requirement:

• Minimum a Diploma or equivalent, preferably in logistics or related field
• Possess relevant experience in inventory control

• Oversee and direct the team responsible for establishing supplier contracts, ensuring alignment with sales and operational needs.
• Lead the Asia Pacific region a wide range of service providers that supply intermodal and sea freight services.
• Organize and maintain rates, surcharges, and suppliers' data in the internal vendor system.
• Ensure that the procurement's requirements and procedures are acknowledged and followed, support and facilitate the regional procurement team.
• Establish and expand comprehensive connections at different levels with both new and current suppliers in the relevant industry.

Requirements:

• Degree in Supply Chain Management or equivalent
• At least 5 years of experience in Shipping or Logistics sector.
• Proven track record in procurement function and exceptional leadership skills.
