Responsibilities

1. Comprehensive Product Testing: Conduct daily routine testing for in-process products, finished products, and raw materials. Provide detailed and accurate test result reports to ensure product quality and consistency.

2. Laboratory Equipment Management: Ensure all laboratory testing equipment, instruments, and sampling tools are meticulously cleaned, dry, and ready for use.

3. Quality Assurance: Perform all required tests in strict accordance with established procedures.

4. Sample Management: Properly label and store retention samples under specified conditions, following standard procedures to maintain integrity.

5. Adherence to Good Laboratory Practices (GLP): Execute tasks following GLP to uphold the highest standards of accuracy and safety.

6. Laboratory Maintenance: Assist in maintaining the QC laboratory, ensuring all equipment and premises are in optimal condition. Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment through regular housekeeping.

7. Procurement: Handle the purchasing of laboratory chemicals and consumables to ensure seamless operations.

8. Support Functions: Assist with packaging materials testing in the absence of other Assistant Chemist. Take on additional duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the team.

Requirements

1. Diploma/Degree in Chemistry or a related science field.

2. Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience, preferably in the FMCG/Manufacturing industry.

3. Hands-on experience in operating Gas Chromatography (GC).

4. Proven experience in quantitative analysis using chromatographic techniques.

5. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

6. Independent, self-driven, strong communication skills with excellent analytical abilities.

7. Immediate availability is highly preferred.

The Rat Control Section is responsible for overseeing island-wide rat control operations, with a specific focus on identifying and addressing potential areas of rat harbourage. Additionally, the section plays a pivotal role in exploring the integration of technologies into NEA's daily operations, with a strong emphasis on improving public health. Furthermore, the department is responsible for overseeing contract management for NEA's deployment of technology for rat control.

You will work with the stakeholders to plan and implement environmental public health programmes in areas of rat surveillance and control, to meet the environmental public health needs of Singapore. You will be responsible for the following:

• Carry out day/night inspections in commercial premises and public places to ensure no propagation of vectors and undertake necessary response actions
• Provide technical advice and engage the public or owners of premises on preventive and control measures to keep their premises free of vectors
• Deploy and supervise work performances of outsourced contractors
• Manage the deployment of surveillance equipment in indoor premises and outdoor settings
• Investigate feedback related to vector nuisance and sanitation issues related to vectors propagation
• Recommend/carry out enforcement actions that contravene the Environmental Public Health Act (EPHA), Control of Vectors and Pesticide Act (CVPA) and their subsidiary legislations
• Any other duties with regard to vector control work as specified

SCOPE OF WORK & RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Full spectrum of QC work.

2. Handling and inspection of:

• Material in-coming and out-going checks

• In-process testing and final product testing

• Identify product status and record product quality problems, if any

• Control of further processing of non-conforming product

• Re-inspect reworked products

• Identify and segregate non-conforming product

• Reject products found not satisfactory

• Release conforming products for delivery

• Maintain inspection records

3. Maintenance of calibrating equipment and ensuring that proper certifications are obtained from the proper authorities.

4. Quality Audit in compliant to Quality Management System.

5. Assist to prepare and summarise production reports

6. Identification of aluminium extrusions section number and maintain latest project drawings.

7. Any other assignments relevant to scope of work as and when required.

Requirement:

• 5-day work week • Able to use Microsoft Word/ Excel

- Minimum N level with relevant experience.

Responsibilities • Liaise with authorities, client and consultant to execute the work as per specification and authority’s requirements • Liaise with engineer and foreman to execute the work as per planning for the project • Carry out the inspection with RTO/RE as per specification and approved design • Supervise and coordinate with the subcontractors for the assigned site activities to meet schedule and control the quality of the work • Supervise the civil & structure work such as Excavation work (open cut and deep), Rock Blasting, Bored Piling work, Sheet piling work, Strutting work, Ground Improvement work, RC and Steel Structure work, Road work • Coordinate closely with M&E and Architectural work related to structure work. • Coordinate with LTA / PUB/ JTC for the related to structure work and civil work.

You will report to the Assistant Director and Director in the management, monitoring and validation of cardiac-related clinical data. You are responsible for collecting, coordinating and processing, as well as ensuring quality control of these data.

You will provide oversight for quality assurance activities and evaluate the effectiveness of the quality assurance programmes. You will manage the team through data validation and management exercise according to the Ensure Safer Systems’ requirements.

You will manage and facilitate value-based (VDC) projects with internal and external stakeholders, which includes overseeing the functions of the value driven care committee such as collecting and analysing data, developing methodology for measuring clinical quality indicators, and working with domain heads on interventions to mitigate the clinical quality performance trends. You will render support in audits and licensing requirements by the Ministry of Health. You will also promote and encourage staff participation in quality improvement programmes through providing project consultancy and leading the team in case analysis and following up on areas for improvement.

You are required to integrate and analyse data using statistical methods, perform analysis and work with teams to coordinate projects assigned. You will also coordinate meetings and document its proceedings, prepare reports, and participate in the implementation of improvement initiatives towards enhancing patient care.

You are responsible to lead and mentor team members as well as afoster good communication and teamwork within the department.

The selected candidate will be offered employment on 2-year renewable contractual terms.

Job Requirements:

· Recognised degree in health science, allied health or nursing with at least 4 years’ relevant experience in a healthcare industry

· Experience in benchmarking and statistical tools and techniques, and knowledge in improvement methodology tools and techniques

· Proficient in Tableau would be an advantage

· Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

· Able to work independently with strong analytical, problem-solving and organisational skills, and a good eye for detail

· Good oral and written communication skills
