Overview:

As a Quality Control Assistant, you will support the implementation and compliance of ISO standards within the company. Your responsibilities include assisting in maintaining documentation, supporting internal audits, and helping with quality checks to ensure compliance with established standards. Responsibilities include:

• Perform goods receiving in the central kitchen and report any non-conformities

• Perform quality checks in production lines and ensure accuracy of Critical Control Points (CCP) and Operational Prerequisite Programmes (OPRP) records

• Prepare and send daily quality control reports to the management

• Assist to prepare training content and conduct in-house staff training covering personal hygiene, food safety guidelines and workplace safety

• Perform in-house swab tests on equipment and personal hygiene, equipment validation and verification and oversee all pest control maintenance

• Assist with routine and ad-hoc ISO internal and external audits, halal audits and regulatory agencies audits

Minimum qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Culinary Science, Quality Assurance or related field

• Have basic knowledge in FSMS, HACCP, QMS and Halal Certification

Mission

• Plan and implement the Project Quality Management System (PQMS) activities within the project and organization.
• Plan and ensure the project Quality Control (QC) activities implementation
• Report Quality information and data about Project in line with Corporate Guidelines
• Act as focal point for quality related matters within the project and in liaison with external entities.
• Act as Auditor Lead for ISO matters.

Major Duty and Tasks

• Ensure the definition and implementation of the PQMS and the identification, preparation and distribution of needed Project Quality Plans and procedures in accordance with the Company and External Parties Quality Management System (QMS)
• Ensure that the integrity of the Company QMS is maintained when changes are made to the system for the project
• Ensure that the correct implementation of the Project QMS is checked and monitored through the planning of quality audits
• Ensure that the correct implementation of planned quality audits, taking in account all project processes, including the issue of relevant audit reports
• Ensure, within the project organization, the planning of activities aimed at promoting the applicable Contractual Quality Requirements
• Conduct external audit to Vendors and Subcontractors QMS and ISO requirements
• Ensure, within the project organization, the planning of activities aimed at promoting the applicable Contractual Quality Requirements
• Plan and allocate Quality resources to the various area of the project, managing them in liaison with involved Quality functions
• Support the Project Manager in relations with the Client and with the Authorities responsible for quality matters

The Quality Governance Lead is responsible for overseeing and ensuring the consistency, accuracy, and reliability of financial, project, and operational data across the organization. This role involves developing and managing dashboards, early alerts, and quality governance reporting, as well as driving corrective actions based on key project and financial indicators. The lead will work closely with PQE lead, Quality Leads, SBG Quality Council Leads/members, LOB leads, Delivery Lead, Client Service Leads, Client Delivery Leads, project managers, finance teams, and senior leadership to ensure quality control and mitigate risks. This role ensures that the organization maintains a proactive, data-driven approach to quality governance, driving transparency, accountability, and risk mitigation across all projects.

What will you do? 

1.    Dashboards and Early Alerts:

• PowerBI Dashboards: Develop and maintain interactive dashboards using PowerBI to track key project and financial metrics.
• Early Alerts: Establish systems for early alerts regarding critical issues such as:
  • Missing or inaccurate forecasts (ETC)
  • Manpower cost trending anomalies
  • Consistent variance between actuals and forecasts (Day 2)
  • Past fiscal year trends vs current forecasts (Day 2)
  • High unbilled revenue
  • Aging receivables and poor collection trends
  • EAC (Estimate at Completion) margin erosion and activate Watchlist
• AI Exploration: Explore and implement AI-driven models to predict potentially troubled projects and identify areas for intervention.

2.    Watchlist Management:

• Develop and manage the Watchlist for at-risk projects or financials, categorizing them into:
  • Orange (High attention needed)
  • Red (Immediate action required)
  • BRC - Projects need budget revisions
• Provide regular updates and insights to PQE lead and Global Service Lead and other stakeholders regarding projects on the Watchlist and recommend corrective actions.

3.    Quality Governance Reporting:

• Monthly Business Review (MBR): Oversee the preparation of MBR reports, delivering key insights into project status, financial performance, and emerging concerns.
• Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR): Lead the preparation of QBR reports, providing insights into project health, financial performance, and areas of concern.
• Audit and Risk Committee (ARC): Provide detailed reporting and analysis to the ARC on project and financial performance, including risk mitigation and governance practices.
• Board Reporting: Prepare concise, impactful reports for the Board, focusing on critical project and financial health indicators, trends, and risks.

What will you do?

This position reports to the Wealth Client Segments Control Testing Head within the Citi COO organization’s Central Controls Capabilities; and is a strategic- and execution-oriented leadership role accountable for end-to-end control testing for this position’s specified business/segment – i.e., operational controls performance assurance/testing – which includes design, results reporting, and insight sharing related to the above scope of controls testing.

The Asia South Wealth Control Testing Team Leader leads and directs a team of approximately 6-8+ controls testing professionals responsible for supporting the above responsibilities, with breadth and depth on control testing planning and execution. The position closely follows latest trends in controls testing and adapts them for application within own job and covered businesses and functions, and often will be in touch with senior managers at Director or Managing Director levels.

Excellent management and communication skills required to negotiate internally, often at a senior level.
