We are seeking an individual with QA/QC experience in the civil, structural, and architectural ("CSA") trades for the position of a QA/QC Engineer for Fortis Construction Pte. Ltd. Singapore operations. The candidate will assist with the QA/QC program throughout the design and construction phase of the largest multistory data center in Asia (The Project).

Reporting to the QA/QC Manager, the candidate will be responsible for assuring the implementation and compliance with the Quality Assurance System and for scope of work related to civil, structural, and architectural items. Overview of the Role:

• Conduct accurate test analysis in accordance with test methods for the approval and rejection of finished products.

Purpose of the Role:

• Inspect and perform test analysis on finished products to support the batch approval and rejection process.
• Record results of test analysis following site QA good documentation practices.
• Perform test analysis on non-routine samples such as retests, customer complaints, or rejects.
• Prepare chemical reagents used in the lab and maintain proper housekeeping, including washing glassware and cleaning work areas and equipment.
• Monitor and record the inventory levels of chemicals and glassware and inform the QC Manager for replenishment.
• Coordinate and send samples to external labs for additional testing (e.g., microbial analysis, heavy metals).
• Undertake ad-hoc projects related to shelf-life studies and statistical tests, typically lasting 3-4 months.
• Complete assigned tasks according to site QSHE requirements with minimal supervision.
• Conduct laboratory investigations when out-of-spec results are obtained.
• Communicate any abnormalities to the Quality Manager as appropriate.
• Cover duties of colleagues in their absence.

The Role 

As a Junior QA Tester at Refract Technologies, you’ll hop, skip and jump hand in hand with our Applied Tech and Product teams to ensure products in the AXIS portfolio work as intended. 

This role will see you at the forefront of testing various software and hardware for bugs and ensuring that they are communicated clearly to the development teams. You’ll work with our Quality Assurance team to write and execute test cases, alongside maintaining databases and preparing reports. 

If detail is your middle name, and you aren’t afraid to get physical (it is motion capture software, after all) - we’d love to speak with you! 

For this role, we're open to reviewing candidates pursuing internships, or a 6 month contract role.

What You’ll Be Doing 

• Test software or game products using method and tools established by Senior/Lead QA 

• Execute all test plans established by Senior/Lead QA in timely manner. 

• Verify software or game products based on the expected results or design requirements. 

• Create and maintain test cases based on product requirements. 

• Create defects (bugs) with concise reproduction steps and accurate observations. 

• Track bugs and follow up until they are resolved. 

• Send out and document test reports on all the relevant communication medium.
