• Ensure compliance of CCP / OPRP and food safety requirements of manufacturing kitchens.
• Involving in regulatory, statutory and customer’s audits and assist in follow-up corrective/preventive actions.
• Manage Document Control.
• Relationship management on QA or compliance matters, supporting our Sales, Operation & Logistic team.
• Handle licensing and certification application and renewal with authorities and certification bodies.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Food Science or relevant disciplines
• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience, with supervisory/people management experience
• Knowledge in ISO 22000 / FSSC22000, or any other GFSI recognized certification
• Knowledge in Halal, ASC & MSC, ISO45001 and BizSafe certification
• Comfortable with communicating with internal stakeholders and external parties (Eg, SFA officer, auditors, customers, vendors, etc).
• Technically oriented and able to deal with meat product
• Knowledge in ready-to-eat, cooked chilled / freeze production food safety requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct daily meetings with BU MRRT focal points to validate and follow up on logistics-related manufacturing non-conformances (NCs).
• Provide logistics insights during warehouse inspections to identify root causes of defects with QC inspectors and advise relevant stakeholders during MRRT meetings.
• Drive containment, disposition, and corrective actions for reported logistics issues.
• Handle NC complaints from the manufacturing unit, perform root-cause analysis, and implement corrective process improvements.
• Lead quarterly process audits, report findings, and ensure timely closure on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
• Draft and update quality instructions, guidance documents, and stand-downs for quality improvements.
• Act as the site focal for quality matters in the raw material warehouse supporting manufacturing.
• Prepare and present weekly, monthly, and quarterly logistics review reports for the customer.
• Ensure proper task handover to backup personnel during leave periods.
• Perform all tasks accurately and within set timelines.

Qualifications:

• Experience implementing 8D, CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Action) programs.
• Certifications in quality (e.g., Quality Auditor, Quality Engineer, Six Sigma, Internal Auditor) are a plus.
• Strong background in quality inspection and auditing, with a solid grasp of QA tools, concepts, and methodologies.
• Preferred experience in manufacturing logistics.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPMDS).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Quality Assurance and Control:

• Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance plans, procedures, and control measures.
• Monitor and analyse production processes to detect and resolve quality issues.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, including FDA, ISO 13485, and other applicable standards.

Education/Experience and Qualifications:

• Degree in Engineering or science, with 2 - 5 years of progressive Quality responsibility, preferably in medical device / pharmaceutical manufacturing.
• Diploma holders in Engineering or science with more than 5 years' experience in Quality are welcomed to apply
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality standards, including FDA regulations and ISO 13485 standards.
