Job Requrements

Ph.D. degree in Chem. Eng. and related research areas.

Experience researcher in chemical, biomedical, and environmental engineering. System integration and LCA background will be desirable.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Report and provide assistance to QAQC Engineer & Senior Inspector
• Inspection of the completed tunnel precast elements
• Keeping of Quality Control (QC) records at all stages of the segmental tunnelling lining production
• Testing and examining the materials used
• Checking on the workmanship of the manufacturer in connection with the tunnel precast elements production
• Inspect and checking of defects of production phase of tunnel precast elements and provide finding and recommendation on remedial measures to mitigate the defects

Requirements:

• A Civil Engineering Diploma recognized by the Professional Engineer (PE) Board, Singapore, or its equivalent as accepted by the OIC
• Min. 3 years of relevant experience in the inspection and quality control monitoring of high quality, mass produced precast concrete products
• Will be stationed full time at precast yard.
• Require valid RTO Certification

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and execute manual and automated test cases
• Develop, maintain, and execute scripts for automation tests
• Identify, diagnose, and report software defects in a timely manner
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and improve overall product quality
• Participate in code reviews to provide feedback on software design and functionality
• Work with development teams to ensure that software releases meet quality standards
• Stay up-to-date with the latest testing tools and technologies
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of testing frameworks and test plans

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in software testing
• Experience in scripting and using testing tools such as Selenium, Appium, etc.
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC)
• Knowledge of Agile development methodologies
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• High level of independence
• Experience or knowledge in Insurance is an advantage

• Perform first article evaluation (FAE/FAI) and on new parts/products that are newly manufactured.
• Conduct shipping judgement meeting for first-time manufactured and shipped-out products.
• Handle quality claims from customers through corrective action request (CAR/NCR): evaluate, verify and disseminate information to respective departments.
• Manage claims to ensure root causes are analyzed and effective corrective/preventive action are being taken.
• Ensure prompt follow-up and replies on claims.
• Revise department‘s work standard according to job-flow changes.
• Conducts process audits according to schedule.
• Assist production lines on solving quality matters; discuss and feedback on any improvement.
• Provide engineering support and advice to other members.
• Coordinate monthly quality meeting.
• Supervise subordinate.
• Perform other job duties as and when request upon.

Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical/Avionics Engineering
• Prefer 2-3 years of relevant experience
• Entry level are welcome as training will be provided for those with no experience.
