RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and implement standardized project controls to manage project timelines for the projects undertaken by the company.
• Maintain Master Time Programme and detailed schedules to secure project delivery by the agreed timelines with our clients.
• Implement robust resource scheduling linked to the Master Time Programme, detailed schedules and work-in-progress.
• Manage detailed construction schedules with the Contractors to facilitate accurate reporting of construction progress to our clients.
• Support the project teams in assessing extension of time claims from the Contractors.
• Develop recovery plans when required and actively participate in defending those recovery plans to our clients.
• Work with the Managing Director, Chief Project Controller and Project Director to secure project delivery, payment receipts and profit margin performance.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Architectural, Engineering or any other related technical discipline
• Possess minimum 12 years post-graduate relevant experience in the construction industry. Preferably in the construction of healthcare projects.
• Able to make risk-based decisions where the parameters are unclear, and judgement is needed.
• Have strong stakeholder management experience.
• Can navigate through conflict situations and defuse tension.

Salary: Up to S$10,000 + VB (salary will commensurate according to experience & qualifications)

Job Role Description

The Quality Assurance Engineer is responsible for leading, implementing, and improving Quality Management Systems (QMS) infrastructure, governance and compliance processes and related frameworks in the organization. He/She carries out audits to assess compliance with regulations, guidelines and operating procedures.

He serves as the organization’s expert on Quality Assurance (QA) matters and provides consultation to stakeholders to interpret quality-related regulations, guidelines, policies, and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Deploy quality assurance policies, processes and procedures.

Role Definition

Responsibilities

• Assisting in compliance functions such as designing and performing compliance monitoring /surveillance and reviews to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
• Interpret and analyze new or revised regulatory requirements, and providing advisory support to business units and the management to ensure they adopt adequate measures to manage/mitigate compliance risks.
• Timely escalation of adverse or significant compliance/regulatory issues to management
• Design compliance training materials/regular training to business units to ensure they remain abreast of latest regulatory developments.
• Assist the team in the liaison function with regulatory bodies and industry associations in terms of inspections, official communications, submissions, requests, etc.
• Preparing periodic reports to the Senior Management/relevant Committees on compliance reporting based on FAA, SFA and related relevant regulations requirement.

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in Accountancy, Business, Banking & Finance or equivalent qualification
• Possesses 5 years of relevant experience in Compliance, Internal or External Audit
• Good understanding of the regulatory framework for securities business, including but not limited to Securities and Futures Act, Financial Advisers Act, SGX-ST Rules and AML/CFT financial crime-related regulatory requirements.
• Experience of interacting with the local regulators, auditors, authorities/associations
• Strong ability in assessing the appropriateness of the FI's compliance procedures and guidelines and evaluating compliance with requirements.
• Good team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills due to significant interaction with both senior and experienced colleagues across the organization.
• Independent worker with strong analytical skills, high level of integrity, drive and sense of urgency.
