Working in the Motor and A&H Business Development and Underwriting Department, you will be responsible for marketing and underwriting activities.

Responsibilities:

• Build long term sustainable relationships with business partners
• Liaising, advising and servicing (Including rapport building intermediaries/insureds on A&H and motor insurance matters;
• Develop marketing campaigns, schemes and activities
• Work internally with underwriters to implement campaigns, schemes and marketing activities
• Provide guidance and coaching to junior underwriters and administrative assistants
• Provide support to other Team Underwriters as required
• Generate and analyse management reports on A&H And Motor Underwriting Department performance
• Review, propose and execute process improvement in the A&H and Motor Underwriting Department

Job Specific Competencies

• At least 2 years of underwriting experience in motor insurance.
• BCP, PGI and ComGI is required.
• Strong communication and people skills

Responsibilities:

• Participate in classroom training to ensure updated products knowledge and on current regulations.
• Conduct quality telemarketing calls to promote General Insurance products (e.g. Personal Accident Plan, Dementia Insurance, Home Insurance) to existing and prospective customers
• Identify and/or create opportunities to cross-sell and up-sell
• Convert leads provided by the company to quality sales through telemarketing activities
• Ensure all call activities are conducted with full adherence to regulations and in line with Quality Assurance standards
• Update customer information in the database
• Participate in process improvement projects

Requirements:

• Minimum GCE 'O' Level.
• At least 1 year of outbound call experience from a bank or financial institution.
• Display strong resilience in handling rejection and objections from customers.

• Under the Marketing Team, you will provide support to existing corporate clients and intermediaries on policy renewal and/or endorsement requests.
• Provide quotation in accordance with Company’s underwriting guidelines.
• Prepare monthly premium income report.
• To assist Accounts department in premium collection including fronting policies.
• To establish customer benefit services with vendors.
• Provide customer service to corporate clients on their enquiries, requests, complaints and claims matters.
• Assist the department in planning renewal strategies for corporate clients.
• Prepare referral form, issue Cover Notes and collect of premiums.
• Ensure clients’ database is well maintained and kept updated at all times.
• Participate in improvement project or risk survey, if necessary.
• Other duties that are assigned from time to time.

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma with at least 3 years of client servicing or sales support experience in the insurance space.
• Obatined or is preparing to obtain BCP, PGI and HI Certificates.
• Good follow up skills.
