Responsibilities:

• You will be part of the HR management team that conceptualizes, designs, develops and delivers effective people management and development policies, systems and processes to attract, motivate and retain talents.
• You will build strategic partnerships with line departments and divisions at Company HQ, focusing on developing recruitment strategies to identify skills shortages, recruitment sources and ensuring the right staffing levels for Company HQ to meet the desired workforce and business needs
• You will also strengthen HQ as the Employer of Choice by developing and implementing innovative, progressive and appropriate HR strategies on manpower planning, staffing, job design, talent acquisition, staff retention, performance management, employee relations and change management, in line with the Group HR strategies and plans.

Requirements:

• At least 12 years of experience in generalist HR management function gained from large organizations
• Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and customer service orientation
• Strong leader with the maturity to deal with a broad range of challenges and proven track record of managing and developing teams
• Sound knowledge of labour and industry relations laws and practices
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications including Visio for drawing of process maps, data analysis and presentations

Jobs Description

1. To lead the Sales & Marketing Team in Singapore and to execute sales initiatives in accordance to head office sales strategy.
2. Create and drive sales revenue for local markets as well as overseas’ export markets (ASEAN, middle east, Oceania regions, etc.
3. Develop new overseas’ markets, expand and strengthen Meiji foot hold on existing markets
4. Create an annual sales plan and budget for Singapore and the various overseas’ markets.
5. Conduct regular performance reviews of all sales functions for both local and overseas’ markets.
6. Occasional travel to overseas’ markets to understand customers’ behaviours, trend, brand awareness and discussion with the distribution agents in these markets to implement appropriate sales and marketing support and budget planning.
7. Communicate sales and marketing status regularly to Japan HQ
8. Attend regular sales meeting with Japan HQ (either physically or via web meeting)
9. Actively work with HQ international Sales Dept, local sales team, local Marketing team, R&D team and production team to develop new products, new products packaging and marketing campaigns
10. Liaise closely with Japan Sales team in fulfilling Japan sales orders and shipment date

Requirements

1. At least 5-8 years’ experience in a FMCG and confectionery business environment
2. Sales management background
3. Degree holder or higher
4. Able to speak, read and write Japanese as the role requires frequent communicating and reporting to Japan HQ
5. Sales forecasting
6. Knowledge of FMCG or confectionery Marketing.
