• Performing valuation work (for businesses, intellectual property, financial instruments, for mergers and acquisitions, litigation support, dispute resolution, financial reporting and restructuring) / transaction support work (financial due diligence and other aspects of buyside support services, including preliminary review on potential targets, assisting in term sheet development, providing input to definitive agreements and project management to assist with the completion of transactions)
• Building and analysing financial models and reviewing the underlying assumptions and data
• Working closely with directors on client management, practice development, and business development activities
• Assisting in other advisory work such as mergers & acquisitions, business planning and reorganisation

Profile of ideal candidate:

• Degree in Accountancy, Business, Financial Engineering, or related degree or professional qualification in accounting / FRM / CFA / CVA will be an added advantage
• Ideally between 2 to 4 years’ valuation experience (Senior Associate) or 4 to 5 years’ (Assistant Manager), 5 to 6 years’ (Manager) and 6 to 8 years’ (Senior Manager) auditing experience acquired within an accounting or professional services firm
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills with strong analytical & evaluation skills and good interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated and able to work independently, develop good relationships with senior management, and operate well within a team environment
• Service oriented and commercially focused
• Confident and extremely well-organised; can analyse and make things happen, and work effectively in a highly motivated environment
