Key Responsibilities:
Your role encompasses overseeing the growth and development of the Sales, Marketing, and Sales Admin teams, with a strong emphasis on a sales-driven approach. The primary goal is to increase market share, revenue, and competitiveness across various channels, including retail, education centers, and distributors within the region.
Sales & Marketing
- Formulate and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets, foster customer relationships, and manage expenses.
- Conduct thorough sell-through analyses for store promotions and events.
- Identify opportunities for engagement with local schools and government agencies.
- Facilitate routine Business Review sessions with key customers to assess sales performance, negotiate terms, propose promotional initiatives, and secure shelf space.
- Conduct weekly sales and marketing meetings to disseminate updates on sales, market trends, product information, promotions, and marketing initiatives.
- Exercise comprehensive oversight of all marketing activities, collaborating closely with the Marketing team to oversee marketing materials.
- Monitor competitors and market trends, analyze pricing strategies, and collect market feedback to enhance product competitiveness.
- Utilize Business Intelligence tools for data analysis, budgeting, demand forecasting, sales pipeline management, and management reporting.
- Explore new business ventures and collaborations throughout Asia to boost revenue and expand market share.
- Implement and enforce credit and returns policies to optimize receivables and inventory management.
Requirements:
Education and Experience
- Min Degree holder
- Prior experience in sales and marketing within the education/publications industry is advantageous.
- Demonstrate a profound understanding of education market dynamics and the education industry.
Skills and Expertise
- Exhibit proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Display strong leadership qualities, capable of working autonomously and effectively under pressure.
- Possess robust analytical skills, facilitating substantial analysis and comprehensive reporting.
- Exhibit meticulousness, responsibility, and maturity, coupled with strong interpersonal skills.
- Possess a results-oriented and service-driven mindset.
