This role is critical to guide our Asia Pacific operating entities by providing product developmentand management expertise for our health and protection business. Health insurance in particularhas been singled out as a key strategic priority. We are looking for candidates that are able tocontribute their product development and management expertise from relatively more developedmarkets, in an effort to continuously innovate our product offering in all of our existing markets.

This role is open for secondment from regional operating entities or other Allianz entities orexternal hire.

What you do

You will:

1. Guide the region in Health and protection product development
2. Actively search for ways to continuously improve our Health and Protection product offeringfor our customers - anticipate change so that we remain state of the art in our markets, butalso close potential gaps that we might have
3. Ensure that the Health and protection product portfolio is well positioned to meet volumeand margin targets across all distribution channels
4. Ensure technical excellence in Health and Protection business in collaboration with otherrelevant functions
5. Coordinate and balance interests of various stakeholders

What you bring

1. Deep understanding of Health and Protection insurance products - both in terms ofcustomer propositions and technical details.
2. 10+ years experience in relvant insurance/ reinsurance companies, deep experience inproduct development, ideally with a technical background (actuarial/risk)
3. Experience in engaging, building relationships and managing difficult conversations forbusiness problem solving with internal C-suite executives.
4. Deep understanding of levers of profitability, technical excellence and balance betweencommercial sense, risk, simplification, technology and consumer needs.
5. Excellent communication skills in English.
6. Hands-on attitude and initiative are crucial.

Sales Consultant

• Working days: 5.5 days (One and half day off weekly; Five weekends with 7 off day)
• Need to work on weekend and public holiday. (There’s replacement off for public holiday.)

Store operating hours:

Job scope:
