The Market Access Oncology Care Lead, Intercontinental reports to the Market Access TA Director, Intercon. This person will serve as a strategic partner to relevant TA, as well as relevant global, Intercon and affiliate stakeholders across functions for market access. They will provide meaningful, strategic guidance and support to affiliates across respective TA and region to ensure the development and execution of high impact strategies that optimize and accelerate pricing, reimbursement, and access.

Responsibilities include:

The Market Access Oncology Care Lead, Intercontinental will need to work independently to support region’s affiliates in the localization of Integrated access strategies and strategic pricing approaches for the specific TA portfolio to identify key access opportunities and challenges to enable growth.

They also work in partnership with the Regional Market Access Director, Area cross functional and Affiliate teams to prioritize identified business opportunities and implement appropriate execution plans to maximize affiliates’ ambitions.

This person will work closely with their commercial, medical, and regulatory counterparts to stay aligned with overall 1-7-5 plans.

Specific Responsibilities:

· Facilitate and support affiliates within geographic region for insight gathering for specific TA matters to subsidized affiliates ‘strategy

· Provide market access strategy support and advice for product launches and identification of opportunities for portfolio optimization and growth.

· Supports affiliate in developing appropriate access strategies, including HTA submissions, and value messaging and models for alternative access pathways

• Works closely with critical internal functions (Global/Area/Affiliate Commercial, HEOR, EA, Legal, Medical Affairs, Regulatory Affairs), to localize, advise, align and refine Integrated Access Strategies to optimize pricing, reimbursement and access, including representing the MA Intercon viewpoint at VATs, ICTs, Franchise and other meetings.
• Support and review PLN and LRP assumptions, as well as support the implementation of MA initiatives related to affiliate's prioritized ambitions identified in PLN or LRP

· Maintain an appropriate communication flow with regional counterparts to maximize opportunities across Intercon.

· Share best practices and learnings across markets/regions to inspire innovative solutions; and encourages effective ways of working to ensure fast access for patients and maximize value for AbbVie’s assets.

Qualifications

Required:

• At least 5 years of progressive experience in Pricing and Market Access, ideally at a global, area or large affiliate level
• BA/BS in pharmacy, economics, life sciences or comparable equivalent experience

· Understanding of regulatory agency requirements / policies that govern market approval, and the impact on reimbursement decisions

• Strong cross-functional leadership, influencing, critical thinking, and analytical skills to work with a variety of groups and stakeholders.
• Ability to navigate a complex matrix environment and to be able to influence without authority.

· Willing to work across a range of products, in pipeline, near market and on market in a variety of therapeutic areas, as needs dictate.

· Ability to work under conditions of uncertainty in an evolving environment

• Communicate effectively both in written and verbal format to engage and inspire others.

Preferred:

• MBA, MS, Pharm D, or other advanced degree preferred.
• Knowledge of pricing regulations, pricing governance in key global markets, standard operating procedures, and the business of healthcare in key markets
• Experience across multiple therapeutic areas is highly desirable
• Have deep understanding of healthcare systems, as well as HTA requirements in the region

Job Description

Market Research and Analysis:

• Identify market trends, competitive landscape, and potential growth opportunities within the subsea inspection and tools industry.
• Analyze customer needs and industry developments in offshore oil & gas, renewable energy, and underwater construction sectors.

Client Acquisition and Relationship Management:

• Develop relationships with key stakeholders, including offshore oil and gas companies, renewable energy firms, and subsea contractors.
• Identify and approach potential clients, presenting tailored solutions using subsea inspection tools and technologies.
• Maintain ongoing communication with existing clients, ensuring satisfaction and identifying opportunities for repeat business.

Product Knowledge and Sales Strategy:

• Develop deep technical knowledge of subsea inspection tools, remotely operated vehicles (ROVs), autonomous underwater vehicles (AUVs), and related technologies.
• Collaborate with engineering and product development teams to understand and promote product features and innovations.
• Create compelling sales proposals, presentations, and contracts in collaboration with internal teams.

Project and Deal Management:

• Lead negotiations, close deals, and manage contracts for large subsea inspection projects.
• Coordinate with project managers and technical teams to ensure seamless project delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure that all business development activities align with overall company goals and objectives.

Partnership and Networking:

• Build and maintain strong networks with industry professionals, including attending trade shows, industry conferences, and networking events.
• Develop strategic partnerships with complementary companies and organizations to enhance product offerings or service reach.

Financial and Performance Tracking:

• Develop and manage the business development budget, including forecasting and reporting on sales targets, KPIs, and ROI.
• Monitor the performance of key accounts and market penetration, adjusting strategies as needed to meet objectives.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Marine Technology, or a related field.
• Experience:
  • 5+ years of experience in business development, preferably in the subsea, oil and gas, or marine industries.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing client relationships.
  • Experience with subsea inspection tools, ROVs, AUVs, and related technologies is preferred.
• Technical Skills:
  • Strong understanding of subsea engineering principles, inspection tools, and the operational challenges of subsea environments.
  • Ability to understand and communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical clients.
• Sales Skills:
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Experience in building and executing long-term business strategies.

The Lead of the Assessment and Special Projects team will play a crucial role in overseeing the strategic and operational aspects of assessment management within the Undergraduate Studies Office at NUS Business School. This role is integral to ensuring the integrity, fairness, and continuous improvement of the school's assessment practices, while also spearheading high-impact special projects that align with the School’s academic and strategic goals. The incumbent is expected to work closely with academic staff, administrative members, and external stakeholders to drive excellence in assessment processes and to lead initiatives that enhance the overall educational experience.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Assessment Management

• Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of all assessment-related activities, including examinations, grading, and academic integrity processes
• Ensure adherence to the University’s policies and procedures regarding assessments, maintaining the highest standards of quality and fairness
• Manage and resolve complex assessment-related issues, including appeals and special considerations, in a fair and timely manner
• Collaborate with academic departments to ensure assessments align with curriculum goals and learning outcomes

• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging the adoption of best practices and new technologies in assessment and project management

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business Administration, or a related field
• At least 8 years of experience in academic administration, with a focus on assessment management. Experience in project leadership will be an added advantage.
• Strong understanding of higher education assessment practices, policies, and regulations
• Proven track record of managing mid to large-scale projects, from planning to execution and evaluation
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation
