Job Summary:
As the Sales Manager for the Retail and Supermarket sector, you will develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company sales objectives and expand our market presence. You will drive revenue growth, and build strong relationships with key clients in the Retail and Supermarket industries.
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPI)
1. To achieve the monthly and annual sales target as set up by management
2. Train the Sales Team to work independently
3. Prepare quarterly sales planning
4. To increase market share and brand exposure
1) Sales Target
· Breakdown the monthly sales target by channels and customers
· Distribute the sales target to every member of the sales team
2) Sales Team
· Guide the team to work towards achieving company sales objectives
· Motivate the team for better performance
· Prepare weekly schedule for the team as according to demand
· Help the team to resolve any work-related problems
· Share new items with the sales team for them to push to the market
3) Sales Planning
· To work with Management on the quarterly buying and shipment ETA
· To give feedback on re-order sales
· Plan in advance the promotions and events for every quarter
· Plan for sales recovery if there is any shortfall in achieving the sales target
· Inventory monitoring for relevant actions
4) Market Share
· To work with Management to identify key stores for branding
· To share company’s product plans with customers to push for more sales
· To actively work out area increment for key stores for more brand exposure
· To feedback to Management on any new items/trends/gaps in the market
· To maintain a good working relationship with every customer
Skills and Knowledge required:
- Manage Sales Channel and report directly to the Director
- Proven track record of successful sales management in the retail sectors.
- Knowledge of the Retails, Supermarket market trends and dynamics
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Able to work independently as the key person in pre-sales and the ‘’face’’ of the company
