As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for a diverse range of tasks, primarily focusing on the pricing models and data analysis. Your role involves validating and discussing complex structured products and liaising with product managers and project managers for efficient client deliveries and demos.
Key Responsibilities:
· Effectively communicate with clients to understand and translate client requirements into required internal modules and workflows
· Configure FinIQ UCP toolkit to meet client requirements for pricing complex derivatives and structured products, including what-if analysis, backtesting, stress testing, and barrier probabilities
· Validate and brief teams on complex financial cases and consolidated release packages.
· Analyze the effort required for enhancements and changes in the system
· Develop models for pricing and option greek calculations for financial instruments
· Write pricing and lifecycle management scripts for complex financial products using FinIQ UCP toolkit
· Evaluate, analyze, and communicate systems requirements continuingly
· Author and update internal and external documentation
· Conduct daily systems analytics to maximize effectiveness and handle the Management Information System (MIS) reporting
· Identify and troubleshoot issues reported by clients by collaborating with the development team
· Participate in preparation for product demonstrations to prospective clients
Required Skills and Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in data science or computer science from a Tier 1 institute, with good knowledge of .NET, C#, Java, and Angular tech stack. A Master’s degree will be preferred.
· 0-2 years of experience in financial services or banking technology sector. Internships will also be considered.
· Prior experience with FinIQ applications and FinIQ UCP toolkit preferred
· High proficiency in SQL and database management
· Proven analytical abilities and problem-solving skills, and experience working with multiple teams
· Excellent communication skills, ability to translate data into actionable insights
· Deep understanding of FIX messages and connection types in the financial domain
· Strong technical background in financial software systems, prior experience with FinIQ applications preferred.
