• Develop and run standardized protocols for untargeted metabolomics (or targeted metabolomics panels) for small molecule analysis.
• Design workflows and optimize analytical methods for performing targeted/untargeted metabolomics experiments for different sample mediums (Plasma/Urine/Tissue).
• Work with different collaborators and lead projects for small molecule metabolomics analysis on various sample types.
• Conceptualise, design and develop metabolomics assays for quantification of small molecules.

Job Requirements

• Ph.D. degree in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Chemical Biology, Analytical Chemistry or a related discipline.
• Strong expertise in small molecule mass spectrometry metabolomics (preferred untargeted small molecule metabolomics expertise) with good publication record.
• Experience with liquid chromatography and mass spectrometry instrumentation, sample preparation techniques, data acquisition and interpretation.
• At least 2 years working experience in the field of metabolomics will be preferred.

Research Associates/Research Assistants are required for concurrent research projects in the laboratory of Assistant Professor Lim Jue Tao.

This project led by the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine (LKCMed), Nanyang Technological University, will be conducted in collaboration with the Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health (SSHSPH), National University of Singapore, Singapore General Hospital, Tan Tock Seng Hospital and the National Centre for Infectious Diseases. Key Responsibilities:

Share findings with FMD management.Continuously refines R&D process to reduce R&D timelines, and refines production and R&D handover to ensure shorter trial and error for full production runs. Support timely testing, upscaling and commercialization of projects. Stay updated on local and regional food trends, consumer preferences, and regulatory requirements to identify opportunities for product innovation and OEM projects.
3. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, business development, procurement, and production, to ensure successful product launches in the Singapore and Asian market. Ensures consistencies in R&D samples through end product after first production run matches R&D samples and pilot production run samples.
4. Regulatory Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure that all products comply with local and regional food safety and labeling regulations. Establish and maintain quality standards and monitor the consistency of product quality through production processes in line with Asian market expectations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or higher degree in Culinary Arts, Food Science, or a related field.

The laboratory is interested in dissecting the genetic and epigenetic mechanisms regulating cell fate changes, while developing novel tools and strategies for deriving differentiated cell types via defined factors reprogramming.
