Responsibilities:
- Maintenance Tasks:
- Perform and certify all aircraft maintenance tasks to ensure aircraft are in safe and airworthy condition.
- Inspect, test, repair, maintain, and service aircraft, including conducting preventive maintenance to monitor and ensure the continued safety and functionality of all aircraft components.
- Scheduling and Coordination:
- Coordinate both scheduled and non-scheduled maintenance schedules to align with operational requirements and customer expectations.
- Oversee timely ordering of parts and coordination of resources to ensure maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and on schedule.
- Technical Expertise:
- Read and interpret aircraft maintenance manuals and specifications to determine the appropriate methods for repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose problems to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions.
- Documentation and Compliance:
- Perform and record all maintenance work in accordance with relevant manuals and regulations.
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of all maintenance activities and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Planning and Collaboration:
- Plan maintenance work for upcoming weeks and collaborate with the Planner/Project Executive to ensure tasks are on schedule.
- Regularly meet with relevant stakeholders to discuss and review maintenance plans and schedules.
Requirements:
- Licensing and Certification:
- Valid CAAS B1.2 license.
- Recent certification experience as an Aircraft Engineer.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of aircraft maintenance experience, with specific experience in GENERAL AVIATION piston/turboprop airframes.
- Skills and Abilities:
- Proficiency in documenting maintenance performed on required forms/systems.
- Proactive, meticulous, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Dependable, punctual, and self-motivated with strong organizational skills.
- Capable of prioritizing competing demands and working within strict time constraints.
- Strong spoken and written English communication skills.
