Responsibilities

• Responsible for all air/sea import/export operations
• Overall planning and organizing of the daily air and ocean export cargo
• Coordinate with customers, overseas agents, co-loaders and contractors
• Play the role of the inside sales to handle customer's enquiries and quotations
• Ensuring that the SG customer service and operational warehouse processes meet the set SOP and always aim to be in the best in class in the aviation industry
• Identifies training needs and opportunities to develop a highly skilled functional department
• Good management of the warehouse process and ensuring both operational teams (Ops/CS and warehouse) are aligned
• Set clear objectives, directly linked to the business strategy and guide the team to achieve company targets and performance standards
• Ensure that all processes meets the statutory requirements of the Aviation industry

Requirements

• At least 5 years of supervisory experience, added advantage if incumbent has previous exposure in the freight and logistics sector
• Diploma in logistics or freight related discipline
• Effective interpersonal skills, including effective communication
• At least 2 years exposure in the freight and logistics sector
• Good knowledge for Air Export business especially on documentation and customs clearance
• Possess high initiative with good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills in English
• High attention to detail
• Added advantage if the incumbent has both air and sea freight forwarding experience

Responsibilities

• Customer focus on all times and respond to their enquires asap.
• Co-ordinate independently with airlines, agents, warehouse and inter-company
• Ensure timely clearance of shipments. (IMPORT)
• Consol planning (EXPORT)
• To maintain as point of contact for customers and transporters.
• Liaise with customers and warehouse for shipment planning and job executions
• Knowledgeable in import/export/transshipment procedures for ocean/air shipments.
• Update information into freight management system
• To check and raise invoices as per Company’s objective and deliver to the correct person within the deadlines agreed.
• Cost verification and cost update into system.
• Sending of Pre-alert, POD to clients or agents upon job execution.
• Permit declarations and Sub-cert issuance.
• Provide Sales Support, ensuring the require profit margins as directed by the company are achieved.
• Taking ownership of queries and proactively following through to resolution.
• Responsible for tracking of goods en-route to their destination and ensuring any problems that may arise are resolved so as to avoid delays.
• Maintain proper and systematic filing of documents
• Other duties, tasks and projects as may be assigned by Manager from time to time.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of relevant experience required
• Knowledge on import and export procedure for both air and sea freight preferred
• Self-motivated, a team player and able to perform in a dynamic environment
• Committed individual
• Minimum Diploma in Logistics & Supply Chain or other relevant discipline
• Organized, attention to detail

Responsibilities

• To develop the overall local operational strategy and direction for Warehouse/ Air / Sea Freight Forwarding teams in accordance and alignment with the Company’s strategy.
• Plan on key decisions pertaining to the day-to-day activities for the Air/ Sea Warehouse department, consulting with senior management when necessary.
• To develop/ enhance current eCommerce logistics operational strategy.
• Initiate, manage and implement new project for eCommerce accounts, logistics and transportation network optimization
• Design solutions and work closely with Customer Services team
• Review and implement the eCommerce business to align with company's direction
• Working closely with various partners in Asia in developing the supply chain solution globally for eCommerce Fulfillment
• Set and follow up SOP, traffic flow, communication with customers and overseas counterparts
• Oversee day-to-day e-fulfillment and parcel operations
• Manage operations team and ensure delivers quality and accuracy result according to SOP

Requirements

• Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or related disciplines.
• The experience in eCommerce Logistics is an asset.
• Extensive knowledge on Air / Sea freight forwarding, Warehouse Management
• Minimum 5 years’ experience at managerial level in a 3PL
• Ability to work with stakeholders from all parts of the business including top senior management and junior members
• Excellent analytical skills
• Able to cope with fast-pace environment, self-initiative and work independently
• Hands-on knowledge in WMS, eCommerce marketplaces and fulfillment software would be an advantage
• Good command of both spoken & written communications

Tasks & responsibilities

• Handle daily airfreight export operation
• Executing MAWB/HAWB accurately
• Executing of general cargo/dangerous goods/LC/perishable and live animal shipments
• Sending of pre-alerts to shipper and overseas agent
• Ensure cargoes are correctly labelled
• Attend to any terminal requests / amendments to ensure timely uplift
• Attend to customer/overseas agent queries
• Any other tasks as assigned

Qualifications & experience

• Basic Air export knowledge
• DGR certification will be an added advantage
