The Country Manager/ Branch Manager is responsible for all day-to-day operations and management and to support the company’s strategic short and long terms regional growth plans.
The role and responsibilities of the GM/Branch Manager include the following:
1. Develop, review and refinement of the business strategy, execution of the strategy to obtain/maintain a leading position in the market place.
2. Growing the revenue/profit for the Branch with new business and existing business.
3. Client Management, working closely with the respective management team and HOD, to
· Review SOPs regularly and keep it up to date.
· Review, understand customers’ KPI requirement, facilitate implementation and ensure compliance
· Manage customers’ expectation through regular review and KPI measurements internally
· Monthly or quarterly business review with Key Accounts together.
4. Ensure revenue growth is achieved in a responsible and profitable manner.
5. Ensure the efficient utilization of Company’s resources in order to achieve the overall objectives
6. Talent Management and Recruitment - Hiring of right personnel/talent with appropriate approval, Staff development and performance appraisal
7. Ensure effective internal controls and management information systems are in place;
8. Ensure compliance to the Company work procedures.
9. Keep abreast of market trends, external and internal factors that may affect the Company and implement processes and systems to ensure that management of the Company is adequately informed
10. Support and growth the relationship with Vendors/ Shipping line/Airline Iine ensure best in class procurement strategy for the company.
