Key Responsibilities:

• Ability to safely operate a Class 4 vehicle to transport wood and timber to designated locations.
• Assist with the loading and unloading of wood and timber, ensuring the safe handling of materials.
• Perform regular inspections and maintenance of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
• Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations to ensure the safety of yourself, other road users, and the materials being transported.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery times, locations, and any issues encountered.
• Interact professionally with clients, addressing any questions or concerns related to deliveries.

Requirements:

• Valid Class 4 driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience as a Class 4 Driver, preferably in the transportation of wood and timber or similar materials.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy loads and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and best practices for transporting heavy materials.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members.
• Strong organizational and time management skills to ensure timely deliveries.

We are looking for Warehouse Manager cum Driver as you will be a crucial role in the retail industry by receiving, handling, storing, picking, and packing activities of the warehouse, ensuring that quality standards are met or exceeded.

Job Description:

• Receiving of incoming cargo from suppliers.
• Scheduling and categorization work in the warehouse.
• Deliver, unpacking, organizing goods, occasionally to the store inventory.
• Communicate well with other colleagues to replenish the goods in the warehouse.
• Occasionally need to go to the stores to help out.
• Any other ad hoc tasks and duties as assigned by management.

Responsibilities:

• Adhere to schedule of delivery orders
• Coordinate with sales person on customer’s order before delivery
• Proper loading / unloading of catering equipment into delivery vehicle
