Duties and Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day financial matters, month-end and year-end accounts closing (such as assessing the adequacy of accruals/provisions), and preparation of the monthly and year-end audit schedules and financial reporting packages
• Liaise with various departments in the collection of information and documents
• Process internal charge and reclassification requests
• Process miscellaneous receipts and follow up on unaccounted sums
• Identify and perform clearing for offsetting transactions for balance sheet accounts

Requirements

• At least a Diploma in Accountancy
• Higher qualified/experienced candidates will be considered for the Senior Assistant Executive position

The incumbent will maintain timely processing of employee’s pay and comply with all statutory requirements of staff payroll.

Job Responsibilities

• Liaise with Institutional HR for necessary instructions & documents required for payroll processing.
• Perform monthly payroll computation of various cost centers.
• To be involved in month-end closing and accounts reconciliation.
• Process employees' claims, IR8A, and all other related tax forms and filings.
• Responsible for CPF contribution/refund.
• Attend to enquiries from employees.
• Handle ad-hoc activities as and when requested

Job Requirements

The incumbent shall be part of the Finance Shared Services (FSS), Enquiry Team, responsible for the following:

Job Responsibilities:

• Provides administrative support to the payment enquiry team such as collection and consolidation of data and statistics
• Manages and provides support to outsource call centre(s)
• Handle incoming phone calls and emails to ensure customer’s payment enquiries are answered accurately and professionally within the stipulated time frame
• Provide quality service on hospital’s payment matters including customers’ enquiries and feedback to both internal and external stakeholders in a timely manner.
• Manage difficult customer calls, complaints, provide service recovery and to escalate cases from team members where necessary.
• Other ad-how duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma in a related discipline
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in a call centre environment

Reporting to the Head of Sundry Billing & Inter-company, the candidate will be responsible for the daily operation of Accounts Receivable (AR), Sundry Billing (SB) and Inter-company (IC) functions; and the teams are effective in delivering services to institutions in accordance with 1FSS Service Level Agreement (SLA), SB Service Catalogue.

The candidate shall, constantly look for processes’ improvement and/or strengthen internal controls. Align procedures where appropriate to comply with Cluster / PHI’s Finance Policy & Procedures / Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (FRS) and relevant statutory regulations.

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee the day-to-day operations related to Accounts Receivable, Sundry Billing and Inter-company activities for all PHIs.
• Conduct a monthly review of AR accounts with the team to ensure PHI’s AR aging is within the agreed AR days.
• Support the team leads in handling operational matters, including review and update system authorisation matrix, including SAP and OAS.
• Drive the team to achieve 1FSS’s KPIs and to meet the turnaround timelines stipulated in SLA.
• Engage with stakeholders on operational issues, updates action plans and progress.
• Handle external / internal auditors’ enquiries
• Oversee the implementation of new projects as required, ensuring successful execution within the timelines.

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Accountancy, with at least 10 years of relevant experience with 5 – 8 years in a leadership role
• CA, Singapore or ACCA will be preferred
• Excellent interpersonal skill with the ability to communicate and work effectively with various levels
