NQO (National Quantum Office) is a national platform set up to drive National RIE quantum strategy. I&E in NQO is a key function driving the Quantum Innovation and Enterprise development agenda for Singapore.

Responsibilities

The responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Assist the Chief Innovation and Enterprise (I&E) Officer in developing and implementing a go-to-industry strategy for Quantum.
• Support various Quantum initiatives in achieving their I&E outcomes.
• Engage with relevant companies to understand their businesses, products, service offerings, and technology needs.
• Engage with local research performers in Singapore to understand their capabilities and relevance to companies.

The Pharma Innovation Programme Singapore (PIPS) is an industry-led platform which aims to synergistically and strategically bring together public sector research capabilities and domain expertise of the pharmaceutical industry to enhance the productivity and operational efficiency within Singapore?s pharmaceutical sector through leveraging novel manufacturing technologies and data analytics.

Programme Director (PIPS Office)

· To lead the PIPS Leadership Team, which comprises a representative of each PIPS Core Member and one representative representing all Extended Members (on a yearly rotation basis).

· To be responsible for the execution of PIPS and delivery of strategic objectives and broad plans of PIPS (set by the Steering Board) to ensure achievement of the core mission.

· To lead the day-to-day operations of the PIPS Programme Office.

The MedTech Catapult is a national initiative for accelerating the development of high-value MedTech projects through an in-house product engineering unit. The objectives of the Programme Office are to i) support the operations of the MedTech Catapult, ii) develop strategies and seed partnerships to support MedTech Catapult activities; and iii) oversee and administer the grants. The Senior Assistant Director will report to the Deputy Director, Programme Office.

Job Responsibilities

• Work with stakeholders to develop and execute the overall programme strategy for MedTech Catapult, including plans for ecosystem development
• Specifically, to execute and manage programme operations concerning budget, finance, procurement, HR, facilities and legal etc.

Job Description

· Discharge the duties of a Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) in accordance to the Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Act and the WSH (WSHO) Regulations.

· Develop/implement WSH management system and risk management plans pertaining to the research and general activities in the workplace.

Strategic Planning & Supply Pipeline Development
Formulates a pipeline of real estate options to support A*STAR?s future space needs in the area of Biosafety Level 2/Chemistry labs, Data Centers and Manufacturing Labs, taking into consideration future of work space and emerging industry sectors, with emphasis on sustainability. This includes liaison with real estate companies/consultancy firms and research performers in Singapore to understand space availability over a time horizon of 5-10 years.

Supply Matching and Stakeholders Management
Collaborates with stakeholders, including end-users, facility teams and research planning departments to match space demands to A*STAR prevailing leased space or explore alternatives, to enable timely execution of research activities. This entails having a good understanding of the infrastructure specifications and configuration of each space and its ability to meet the intended requirements and operations, including regulatory compliance.

Tenancy management
Coordinates, negotiates and establishes or renews tenancy for A*STAR spaces, considering various factors, such as terms and conditions offered and overall cost competitiveness. Serves as contract manager for various A*STAR tenancies.
