Responsibility:
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Develop detailed project plans, including resource allocation, timeline, budget estimates, and risk management strategies.
- Set realistic deadlines and milestones and adjust project scope or resources as needed to meet objectives.
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams in the execution of engineering projects.
- Monitor and manage project activities to ensure that timelines and quality standards are met.
- Ensure proper communication between all team members and stakeholders, resolving conflicts and managing expectations.
- Assign tasks to engineering and technical teams and ensure resources are optimized for efficiency.
- Identify resource constraints and work to address any issues that may impact
- project delivery.
- Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Monitor project risks throughout the project lifecycle and update risk management plans as necessary
- Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring that costs are controlled and projects are completed within financial parameters.
- Approve project expenditures and recommend adjustments as needed.
- Oversee project quality standards and ensure that engineering best practices and regulatory requirements are met.
- Conduct regular project reviews and ensure that design and technical documentation is accurate.
- Act as the main point of contact for project stakeholders, ensuring timely communication of project status, issues, and progress.
- Prepare and deliver regular reports, presentations, and updates to senior management and other key stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 5 years Project Management working experience, especially understanding the
- Chinese Companies cultures and working environments is a plus.
- Proven experience in project management, with a focus on semiconductor engineering fields, automation or technology projects.
- Strong understanding of semiconductor engineering / automation technologies, methodologies, and best practices.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, Six Sigma, or similar) are a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel as needed to project sites or client meetings.
