Being an Analyst is about much more than simply crunching numbers – it’s about finding compelling insights within data and using your exceptional business and communication skills to translate those insights into action. As one of the masterminds behind our strategic planning, forecasting and analysis, you’ll spend your time digging into big, complex data sets. The data will not remain inert in your hands, however, since you’ll use your critical thinking, problem solving and communication skills to influence and drive thoughtful and well-informed decision making with our most senior business leaders within the organization, and potentially some of our biggest clients.
As an Analytical Consultant, you will be a core member of Client’s growing business, working in strategy, sales, and products. You will accelerate business growth for customers and developing strategies and actionable insights that change businesses and transform industries. You will work with regional and multinational customers with businesses spanning across Asia Pacific (APAC) markets. You will maintain knowledge of the key challenges and opportunities faced by our customers and advise them on business, marketing, and media challenges.
Responsibilities:
- Engage and influence executive internal and external relationships within the client and industry, and build, customize, and deliver solutions through the right forums (e.g., workshops, presentations, etc.) to achieve outcomes.
- Help create forward-thinking and data-driven points of views, narratives, and business pitches to support client/partner business. Help clients/partners understand and reach their consumers using industry, marketing, and/or third-party research.
- Serve as an industry expert by developing and creating industry point of views and insights (e.g., qualitative/quantitative) using a variety of internal and external sources.
- Advise clients on methodologies for marketing and media strategy, and help customers navigate industry standards and alternatives.
- Communicate content and outcomes of complex analyses in a simple, understandable way to different audiences, through written or verbal forms.
Preferred qualifications:
- Ability to manage large and complex data sets with analytical mindset and knowledge across all value chains of data (e.g., pull strategic insights, extract and clean data).
- Ability to influence an audience by crafting points of views (POVs) using data that elicits empathy or creates buy-in, and partner with, orchestrate, lead, and influence clients, partners, and/or service providers as a trusted advisor.
- Ability to interact with C-suite leaders to present/defend/clarify concerns or issues regarding an existing project, program, or solution.
- Knowledge of SQL is a plus
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in retail, Consumer Packaged Goods, banking, technology/startups, or consulting.
