Job Description:

• Safely operate a Class 4 lorry to transport construction materials, equipment, and tools to designated locations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure roadworthiness.
• Load and unload materials with care, ensuring proper securing and handling of goods.
• Plan efficient routes to meet delivery schedules, taking into consideration traffic conditions and delivery requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and traffic laws to ensure a safe working environment.
• Perform routine maintenance on the lorry, such as checking oil, water, and tire pressure.

Requirements:

• Valid Class 4 driving license with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience as a Class 4 Lorry Driver in the construction industry.
• Knowledge of traffic laws, safety regulations, and road signs.
• Physical fitness and the ability to lift and move heavy construction materials.
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet tight delivery schedules.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Flexibility to work irregular hours and weekends if necessary.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities:

• Transporting goods and materials to and from designated locations
