Your Responsibilities
- Defining and implementing the strategic sales plan for ADM Pet Nutrition to achieve the sales targets for Singapore and export markets (Malaysia, Taiwan, Korea, Thailand and as assigned)
- Collaborate and support the Commercial Development Manager, APEC to develop and grow ADM Pet Nutrition business in Singapore and export markets (Malaysia, Taiwan, Korea, Thailand and as assigned)
- Work closely with ADM Asia Pet Nutrition team to develop ADM global brands in the Singapore and export markets including new product launch plans
- To develop and work closely with distributors to drive ADM Pet Nutrition distribution coverage and route to market in pet shops, vet clinics, modern on-trade and optimize the channel mix
- Pricing and SKU optimization and management
- Participate in the Annual Budget preparation
- Participate in monthly forecast updates and S&OP process
- Work with relevant parties (registration, supply chain, sales forecast, local regulations…) to ensure good management of stocks level and to ensure the products are available
- Understand and provide feedback to ADM Asia Petfood on market intelligence database to identify the opportunities, improvements, levers of development for the marketing mix
- Work with Pet Nutrition Marketing to ensure compliances with global brand guidelines and develop ADM Pet brand awareness in the Philippines
- Based on local market information and needs, together with Asia Pet Solutions, define the pricing structure and strategy and develop the corresponding commercial policy for discounts and rebates
- Conduct business review and training with distributors to ensure good management of distributors
Your Profile
- University Degree in Business Management, Veterinary Science or similar field. Vet Science candidates preferred
- 8 to 10 years’ experience in international and multicultural working environment, multinational companies, ideally from Pet Care, FMCG, Animal Nutrition companies including commercial / distribution management
- Extensive knowledge of commercial management
- Should work with or know about distribution management, B2B, market information tools.
- Experience in managing distributors
- Full professional proficiency in English. Second language is preferred
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Having high level of confidentiality, integrity and business ethics
- Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines in a fast-paced, cross-cultural team
