About the team

This team is creating a new generation of Foreign Exchange and digital Banking platform. This year we plan to streamline our FX pricing & risk management capability and re-architect the APIs and workflow engines that power our FX enabled customer experience across payments, conversions and multi-currency card spend.You will help us build functionality that provides seamless Global native capability across Airwallex’s diverse product ecosystem, including card issuing, payments and acquiring.

What you’ll do

The Core Banking Engineering Manager is a high-impact role requiring close collaboration with product & engineering teams across the organization to maintain & evolve the mission-critical client ledger & financial transaction orchestration engine that powers Airwallex’s diverse product capabilities, including card issuing, payments, and foreign exchange.

We're looking for a Senior Manager, Financial Partnerships, to be based in Singapore, to own our key strategic relationships related to our banking infrastructure across APAC.

As Group Finance Manager you will play an important role in ensuring the accuracy of the Monthly financial reporting across all our finance regions. Responsibilities:

• Be responsible for leading the controllership team in delivering financial reporting, driving an efficient monthly close process, streamlining finance operations, building a control framework and managing audits
• Empower your team by leading, mentoring and developing a strong team of high performing members
• Lead the Group financial statement audit and consolidation in accordance with US GAAP and ensure your team manages regional audits in accordance with local standards
• Support a wide range of strategic projects to enable Airwallex to continue its growth into new products or regions.
• Continuously identify opportunities for process improvements within the finance domain to increase efficiency or collaboration.
• Closely collaborate with product or business teams that require finance support on new product developments
• Close collaboration with other finance teams on department wide projects and change management

What you bring:

• 10+ years of finance experience, Big Four experience is advantageous
• Master degree in accounting or related field, CPA or equivalent qualification preferred
• Strong understanding of financial services, fintech businesses and regulatory environments
• Extensive experience in a financial controlling role and proven track record of building and expanding these capabilities within an organization.
• Strong knowledge on local accounting standards and being able to apply them in practice.
• Proven experiencing in managing complex, local or international projects focused on process improvement initiatives
• Strong communicator and ability to interact with all levels within the organization
• Confident, creative and innovative thought leadership and communication skills to deliver impact in a hyper growth environment
• Experience working independently and navigating ambiguity

As a Product Manager - Growth, you will be working with a talented and dedicated design, data and engineering team. You will lead them to generate meaningful commercial impact via product-led growth as well as building best-in-class tooling for internal and external users.

Responsibilities

• Own clear commercial KPIs: revenue generated and cost saved
• Collaborate with our Onboarding and Website teams to design and deliver a best-in-class self-serve experience for our customers
• Collaborate with our Marketing and RevOps teams to improve campaign effectiveness
• Own our Offers Engine and collaborate with our Pricing / Billing teams on incentive design
• Drive routine exploration of vendor tech/ internal tooling needed to enable our commercial/ marketing functions
• Drive experimentation across our entire customer experience with our dedicated Growth Data Scientist and testing tools

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of professional experience in a high-growth and experimentation-driven environment
• Familiarity with statistical significance and basic testing methodologies
• Must have experience working with the following stakeholder types; Data Science, Design, Customers, Internal leadership, Engineering, MarketingNice to have experience working across a marketing funnel (onboarding/ engagement/ offboarding)
• Demonstrates strong communication skills and thoughtful decision making
• Owns and drives the creation of roadmap and delivery of projects independently. Good at taking initiative
• Able to operate at both a high level (e.g., defining longer-term vision and strategy) and also engage in the weeds (e.g., working through very detailed edge case requirements with their team or reviewing product copy)
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and moving fast/being scrappy when needed
