(A) SPECIFIC

MediSave and MediClaim

1. Generate daily listing of patient claims from the SAP system, sort Medisave Claims Authorisation Forms (MCAF) and counter-check that forms are signed and correctly updated in system.

2. Generate and check claims for patients under the Civil Service’s Medical Claims Proration System (MCPS). Check monthly rejection report from Ministry of Defence, verify the cases for rejection and follow up with patients for payment.

3. Manual submit claims via CPF Board portal/website and manually update bills in SAP on approval by CPF Board.

4. Post entries in SAP to clear patient bills based on approved manual claims.

5. Monitor provisional bills for claim status update with the CPF Board.

6. Verify error messages and follow up on rejected claims for re-submission.

7. Log system errors (e.g. submission failure) with IT Helpdesk and follow up for closure.

8. Inform and advise frontline operations team to resolve claim errors and follow through on error rectification and problem resolution.

9. Verify reasons for rejection of claims (by CPF Board) and cancel bills for amendment.

Roles and Responsibilities
1.Clinical:

• Assist in preparation of patient for treatment
• Assist in preparation and setting of rehabilitation equipment for treatment
• Assist in teaching and supervision of therapeutic exercises as prescribed by therapists
• Assist in preparation and application of electrical modalities as prescribed by therapists
• Assist in lifting and transferring of patients

2. Administrative:

• Maintenance and cleaning of rehabilitation equipment
• Checking and updating inventory
• Maintain cleanliness and order of rehabilitation gyms

Requirements

• Preferably with relevant experience in healthcare
• Preferably with HMI/ITE certification for therapy assistant

The Executive Assistant supports the Education Development Office by assisting and coordinating in students’ matters, evaluations and assessment, trainings, secretariat and other administrative functions.

Assist the supervisor & CEL to support the operations of the office to provide the best learning environment and quality clinical education for pre-employment clinical training in KTPH.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

(A) SPECIFIC

Support the supervisor & Clinical Educator Lead (CEL) in overseeing the process of the activities in the Education Development Office. This involves:

• Provide administrative support on students’ clinical placements, funding, evaluation and audit matters
• Support in pre-employment clinical training matters such as orientation, rosters/timetable, collation of students' feedback, appointments of clinical educators, preparation and running of exams etc.
• Ensure all necessary evaluation takes place & submit in a timely manner
• Provide secretariat support for meetings with program stakeholders
• Assume the role as the point of contact for students and clinical educators
• Coordinate department and hospital wide faculty development activities and other training courses for the department
• Develop and maintain a filing system for the department for reporting and audit purposes
• Engage with process improvements to ensure smooth operations of EDO in KTPH.

(B) GENERAL

The person will also be required to support the supervisor in the following:

1. Events management e.g. orientation, workshops, Teachers Day, etc
2. Publicity support, inclusive of content and materials collation
3. Education Technology and E-Learn, where needed.

Other duties and projects may also be assigned by the supervisor from time to time.
