Design Engineer

Responsibilities/ Functions:

• Be team lead and assist to manager in routine operation.
• Involve in technical discussion and clarification with the customer to understand the needs,
• Generate control schematic design drawings as per customers’ requirements, technical specification and standards.
• Selection of protection, control and measuring devices according to requirement for applications such as feeders, motor control,
• Design and arrange mock-up of the proposal to present the realization of electrical instrumentation system.
• Provide feedback to project, sales & marketing department accordingly to customer comments, on the changes of technical requirements by clients.
• Support production in realising the solution for delivery.
• Involve in improvement and development on electrical LT switchboards to be more compatible, effective cost and standardize design.
• Create bill of materials (BOM) for the approved control drawings.

Qualifications:

• Degree or Diploma in Electrical or Electronic or controls studies.
• Proficient in CAD software (Briscad, Solidwork, etc.)
• 2 years in this technical field of expertise
• Knowledge of HMI, PLC, sensors, interface essential.
• Able to communicate effectively in oral and written form.
• Able to work under pressure with tight schedules
• Knowledge of switchgear, controlgear, and ACMV system will be added advantages.

Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily operation of the assigned project in accordance with company's policy
• Monitor the performance of the projects, sub-contractors and resolve daily problems arise during and after the course of projects
• Communicate, implement, and monitor company's policy to the project team for the effective implementation of the policy
• Identify potential construction problems, instigate preventive measures, standardization and innovate technique in related to selective construction process
• Review, advise and resolve on contractual, technical matters and comment on sub-contracts in related to the projects
• Chair internal project reviews meeting with project team and report on the performance for director's information
• Establish, develop, monitor and maintain project budget, programme, resources allocation, quality plan, environmental issues, and safety plan in accordance with company's requirement
• Liaison with Client, Architect and consultants for performance and co-ordination of the project

Requirements

• Degree in Building, Civil, Structural Engineering or other construction related subject
• Minimum 7 years relevant experience with at least 3 years in managerial grade in construction field
• Strong management, communication and problem solving skills
• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or construction related major
• Able to communicate in English & Chinese (to liaise with Mandrain speaking associates)

Working day: Mon to Saturday (half day)

5 days work per week

Job Duties:-

• Pre & Post contract
• Qty taking off
• Preparation of progress claim
• Final account qty check and submission
• Monitor construction cost within budget
• Contract issue and negogiation
• Preparing tender and contract documents,
• Carry out cost analysis, monitoring cost variations and report
• Ad hoc duties by Contract Manager

Requirement:-

• Minimum Degree holder
• Minimum 2 years experience (Prefer in Infra/civil Project)
• Able to work as a team
• Responsible, detail & careful Attitude
• able to communicate with site team which consisted of English speaker and Chinese speaker.

• Quantity take-off and cost estimation sourcing of contractors and suppliers
• Understanding the requirements, prepare and submit tenders with specific deadline
• Liaise and coordinate with the Consultants, Clients and Sub-contractors
• Contract and tender document administration
• Collaborate with project team and tender department to ensure all drawings are in order as per design requirements.

Requirements:

• Degree/Diploma in Quantity Surveying Mechanical Engineering (P&S, ELECTRICAL or ACMV & etc)
• Minimum 2-3 years relevant experience in building and construction industries.
• Fresh graduate is welcome to apply
• Possess strong project organizational skills, resourceful, energetic and able to work independently as well as in a team
• Good communication, interpersonal and problem solving skills
