What are the roles and responsibilities?

• Source opportunities and acquire new business revenue for Aramex domestic express services, focusing on multi-channel retailers and brands.
• Identify, gain, and develop account opportunities through targeted prospecting, networking, and relationship building.
• Achieve assigned quota for signings and revenue plans, meeting or exceeding sales targets and objectives.
• Utilize solution selling techniques to position Aramex domestic express services effectively and address customer needs and pain points.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional departments in solution development to achieve desired customer outcomes and deliver innovative shipping solutions.
• Conduct regular performance reviews with customers to assess satisfaction, address concerns, and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Grow and expand business across the entire product portfolio through effective negotiation and relationship management with existing and potential customers.
• Develop and maintain effective relationships with existing customers, ensuring high levels of customer retention and satisfaction.
• Prospect and gain new customers through targeted sales efforts, presentations, and networking activities.
• Collaborate with the sales team to achieve departmental objectives and contribute to overall company growth.

Requirement for the role:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably in the logistics or transportation industry.
• Proven track record of success in sourcing opportunities, acquiring new business revenue, and achieving sales targets.
• Strong understanding of solution selling techniques and account management principles, with experience working with multi-channel retailers and brands.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate value propositions and build rapport with customers.
• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment, collaborating with colleagues from various departments to achieve common goals.

Job Requirements

Responsibilities

• To be responsible and maintain smooth operation for daily routes / adhoc trips
• Liaise with customers via email on the deliveries arrangement and collection
• Coordinate with customer’s request and responsible to arrange with operation team for deployment of routes
• Coordinate with ground couriers on ground shipment pickup and deliveries
• Attend to all complaints through email, tele-communicating, or verbal
• Other adhoc duties assigned.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least Professional Certificate/NITEC in Logistic/Transportation or equivalent.
• Good communication skills and a team player
• Must be familiar with Singapore route in order to assist the Team Leader in route planning
• Require to perform shift work and work 5.5 days
• Possess Class 3 license is a must
• Shift Timings:

Monday to Friday - 7:30am to 4:30pm OR 1pm to 10pm

Saturday - 7:30am to 11:30am

Sea Freight Customer Service / Specialist

We are looking for a Sea Freight Customer Service / Specialist to join our Singapore team and will report to the Sea Freight Assistant Manager.

Responsibilities

• Establish good working relations with customers and provide them the best freight solution
• Handle freight enquiries, quotations and coordination with customers.
• Provide support for the commercial team by providing quotations
• Support customers on any claim, payment issues or pending shipment.
• Manage shipment from origin to destination to ensure customers’ satisfaction.
• Coordinate with multiple stakeholders internally.
• Negotiate rates with carriers, agents, offices and service providers.
• Report any failure to the line manager and ensure client is updated on time manner.
• Maintaining daily and regular reports.

Requirements

• At least 2 years working experience in freight forwarding
• Customer service oriented and key account management is preferred
